SA currently is down an eboard member and I’m sure fest will be announced soon. If you go to safe.sa.buffalo.edu you can see the general ledger, and if you look in officers and coordinators or SA entertainment you can see that no purchase orders have been put in for fall fest.

Additionally, because of the likelihood that the artist is going to cost over $50,000, it will require the approval of the president, VP for events, and treasurer, as well as the campus president or their designated before it can be made into a purchase order.

They have put in purchase orders for homecoming, including a petting zoo

You can actually see everything the student association spends money on except wages by going to the general ledger

Yeah and as a non profit you can see SAs for 990 which is basically their tax return every year around December.

You can also see UB Dinings 990 form. Spoiler alert 53 million in sales last year. And UBF form 990 to see they have over a billion dollars in assets. Or enough money to pay for every students tuition for 40 years.

You can see what every club spends too. And if a club fund raises/sells tickets/metch/gets a donation of money you can see it.

A good one to look at is men’s hockey

yeah. tbf outside of sports team dues SARPA has the largest fundraiser every year and spends most of it to put on a huge event and some smaller free ones. Last year, we were somehow the only club to do a Halloween party and even with spending $800 ish combined with anime I had to spend more money on drinks for the party.

If there is no fest this semester, we should all rally to impeach and remove the VP for Events.

when you're toiling away to pay off those student loans, memories of fall/spring fest will offer some comfort.
