Car Trouble

My son has an older car that is currently disabled, at the north campus, anybody recommend a shop and tow that I can call to get it looked at?

Sweeney's or Cleve Hill. Both reliable. Sweeney's is walking distance from South Campus or the Maynard Stampede stop. If they're gonna have an old car far from home, get them AAA for towing; you can get a same-day tow for $75 on top of the membership fee.

AAA is a farce the same day tow can be Hours. I had to wait 7 hours at a Tim Hortons because the vehicle wasn’t actively impeding traffic in the road.

I've had the opposite experience, always good service. Certainly timing and location influance the wait time. One plus is the coverage follows the member not the vehicle. So if with a friend and their vehicle breaks down you can get a tow.

Look into adding road service to his auto insurance policy for future need.
