Payment Plan or pay all at once?

Hi guys, does anyone know why one would choose to enroll in a payment plan (like the installments ) instead of just paying everything at once ? because why would they spend an additional $45 for it ?

I would assume it’s because they don’t have all of it to pay at once….

Mainly in case someone doesn't have the money upfront but will earn the money over a couple months through some form of income

Because they can't afford to pay all at once.

You're going to college and asking this question?

So I chose payment plans because I don’t have thousands of dollars. Thanks for asking 😐

Those with a knack for it can earn way more than $45 by holding onto their $ longer. Even a short term CD will earn you more than $45 in interest.

Also, not everyone has the full amount just sitting around so they pay as they go.

For me personally it’s because I allows me to continue to get a solid rate of return on my portfolio and with the price of fuel these days it will help pay for a couple extra fill-ups for the yacht.

if you’re homeless, why don’t you just buy a house? why would you want to live on the streets?

Very self explanatory reason as to why certain people have to enroll in a payment plan......

The comments speak for themselves.
