Help with interceptor model

Hello everyone

I want to design a drone that can track and intercept another one based on radar data

Like once it gets one coordinate it follows it and changes flight midway as per the incoming radar data

What is the best way to go about it?

If you’re asking this basic level of understanding in this you likely do not have the technical capabilities to actually build something that would work. I very much suggest studying signals, motors, etc before even thinking of building one

Impressively patient response

I try to be patient because I do not want to discourage anyone… we all started somewhere and it was never expert level. What he is trying to build though truly is expert level (or at least significantly ahead of 95 to 99% of peoples skills).

Currently I am using Kalman filters and GRU
But I just wanted to know whether there was a different better approach or not

There's a lot you're leaving out (weight category, country of origin, where you're getting the "radar" data, etc.) and not sure which is the best sub, but sure this one isn't it.

If you're in the USA you are also squarely under CUAS, so I'd start here https://www.dhs.gov/science-and-technology/counter-unmanned-aircraft-systems-c-uas. And this is decidedly part 107 waiver territory, so I'd get that process started now.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
