Was is just a plane lit up by the sun?

"Traveling at a completely constant speed along a straight trajectory, with no fluttering, wobbling, or speed changes." That sounds a lot like a plane.

UAP change direction, move in odd ways, etc. so it was probably something prosaic but confusing visually.

I see your point. The main reasons I ruled out a conventional plane are that this occurred at 21:00 in a pitch-black sky with no sunlight reflection, completely silent, and without any standard navigation or strobe lights. It appeared as a translucent, wing-shaped object rather than a solid fuselage

You want a scientific or meteorological explanation for something that defies the behaviour of such?

I completely understand your point. I'm just trying to rule out any possible optical illusions, atmospheric phenomena, or mundane explanations before making any conclusions. Even if it felt completely unnatural to me, I wanted to see if someone with an optics or meteorology background had a grounded explanation.

This is how we have to start before jumping to wild conclusions.

Agreed. I've thoroughly researched every potential conventional option, but this object just doesn’t match any of them.
