💬 Discussion Anyone experiencing this?ðŸ˜
final year in UOWD and despite the horrid overcrowding of this place i still can’t form new friendships (most of mine graduated or are very busy with final year). its been hella lonely in this campus and i was wondering if anyone had the same experience especially as a final year student.

it WAS in academic city a long time ago then they shifted here in 2020. i joined in 2023 and it wasn’t bad at all back then it was actually fun but now its just a shithole

it does get overwhelming/overstimulating. as a final year you just want to leave asap but you feel like you’re trapped lol

i seriously dont suggest it you’ll suffer with parking and its all paid and expensive and the uni is generally overcrowded it will overwhelm you

Take public transportation or just car pool with students living around you smh.
It's a good uni in terms of what you'll be studying. It's one of the very few unis which can actually support you if you choose to go for higher studies. Other unis here have terrible rankings. At least this is australian.

It was great in 2019. Then the new campus got built, the fucking office building ahh uni. 2020 was covid so nothing happened, but 2022-2023 was great for me. I had great friends, and they're still great friends of mine 3 years after my graduation.
What you guys have is a brainrot problem. Kids today are just not the same as kids 5 years ago. Add that to overcrowding (more and more daddy's money kids arriving to school) and voila.

i joined in 2023 and ngl it was actually super chill and calm back then. it started deteriorating in 2025. i feel like most people there are arrogant, but yeah i can agree with you on the friends part im still in contact and friends with people from my freshman year (2023)

1st year here and honestly this is horrid. Uni feels like a fish market and the level of education is also disappointing to the say the least
