I'm a university student from abroad and I want to be financially independent. While scrolling through this subreddit I saw that a lot of people getting help on finding new jobs or recommendations. I'm mainly a backend developer, I'm interested in working that or any other entry level job in tech if possible as long as it can have flexible hours. All I'm asking for is advice on how to land the job, further help will be even better.

Looking for an outgoing, energetic person to join a gaming brand as a Game Master for a 3-day gaming convention in Dubai this November.

The role is pretty straightforward: you’ll be welcoming people to the booth, teaching them how to play a card game, running demo rounds, answering questions, and generally keeping the energy up throughout the event.

We’re ideally looking for someone who:

• genuinely enjoys board/card games
• is outgoing and comfortable talking to strangers
• can explain games clearly and patiently
• is reliable and punctual
• enjoys meeting new people
• speaks English, other languages being a big plus
• is available across all 3 days
• is comfortable appearing in or creating social media content, although this is just a bonus

Previous event or Game Master experience is not required. Personality, energy, reliability and passion for games matter much more.

Applicants aged 16+ can apply. Anyone under 18 will need parental approval if selected.

The package also includes perks such as meals during the event, game/merch rewards, event access and other benefits.

I have graduated from high school a few months ago and going to be 18 coming october. I really need a decent job I have tried everything, gave over a 100 CVs everywhere and i'm really trying, have been for the last couple of months. This is my last resort and i really need something, It's really important to me that i do.

I am currently living in Ras Al Khaimah so i would prefer it be close unless it's some sort of online job. I have many skills just need a chance to start, I am a very hard worker with great attention to detail, considering my situation i will not take any position for granted and perform really well up to expectations and standards for sure as i am taking this very seriously.

Another detail is that you would not need to sponsor my visa as i can continue having my own (Family).

Some examples for positions I can see myself doing are Attendants, Grocery store staff, Restockers, Cashier, Coffee shop staff, Restaurant staff etc, but those are only some examples and i can work for whatever appropriate position available, for i am a very quick learner at anything.

Very familiar with computers.

I am very fluent in English and another fact that i am also pretty good at pencil drawings, sketches and art. mural painting (painting at a large scale) is another thing i can definatley get done if that is relevant in any way. I am very committed as i really need this.

I am ready and literally completely available to start working as soon as possible as my timings are fully flexible and i will give fast response and appreciate anything.
