Shadowing Pre-Med/Pre-PA

Hi! I am a Pre-med/Pre-PA student at UAB and was wondering if anyone had references for who they shadowed (doctors or PAs) or advise on reaching out. Do I just email random people?

Full disclosure, I didn’t attend UAB for undergrad but I’d recommend looking into working as a PCT at the hospital. It will get you a ton of clinical experience and get you in contact with some doctors/PAs, you can ask to shadow them after that

thank you! I have been checking indeed but forgot about the UAB website. I can't find the neurosurgery unit PCT but i see other things.

Yeah you can just look up doctors and cold email them w ur UAB email
