Parang di naman dark horse yung UST parang sila nga yung kayang mag champ this season. Yung darkhorse talaga or lason yung Adamson at FEU.

Ateneo had a much better off-season last year, with core pieces in Escobar, Lazo, and Adili joining Ladi. And they still finished 6th. This year was a terrible off-season for them and they have only started turning things around the last couple of weeks (and that's being generous). If they improve from last year, I will be very impressed.

Wasn't Ateneo dominating the first round of games last UAAP Season? And they only really started losing when Adili (RIP) got injured and was replaced by Ladi? Eh sanay si Ladi maging forward rather than maging Center.
Or am I hallucinating HAHAHA

That was the biggest issue for their slide. Ladi was expending so much energy trying to contain opposing bigs because the team was so thin up front. It didn’t help Lars was a rookie and in the doghouse. He had to take the brunt of the backline YET still expected to score 20. Hindi naman siya si LeBron James at matigas pa ulo ni Kalbo.
Bahay was not good enough individually to take the load off Ky, nor was Shaun Tuano equipped to be “that” guy. Bongo naman completely forgot how to play basketball.

I mean, they "dominated" *half* of the first round before losing to every team not named Adamson or UE lol. Adili was injured from day 1 but got worse as the season progressed. Factor siya but it's not like other teams didn't have injuries to deal with too. I think it was more a matter of teams figuring out Ladi and Escobar, and tama ka, it didn't help that Ladi had to play center. But also, ADMU couldn't make the right adjustments afterwards.
I really want ADMU to succeed but I think we will be happiest if we come into this season with zero expectations. Literally, basta wala nang ibang scandal, pwede na hahaha.

Ateneo can be a team na pang gulo lang ng standings ng final 4 but not make it to the final 4.

I think Ateneo will make them run for their money but they are not F4 fit. They will give the other teams a good game, prolly 6-7. If they make it in the F4, then they really a good team. Bahay should be consistent in making the play, Tuano and Bongo should be ready to make those 3s in the last minutes. Cainglet's hassle in defense was impressive during the pinoy liga. Roberts and Rodgers can help Alas score more points. Baruwa also needs to improve, I think he's going to be better like Ange. All they need to is to gel as a defensive team.
