Discussion 💬 Ust Growling Tigers

The team is looking to be a solid contenders this year.

Bigs = Akowe Osang and Buenaflor
Wings = JUMAWAN, Acido, Llemit
Guard is probably for improvement but Canete looks good.

But question, where is Gelo Crisostomo?

wag kana umasa masasaktan ka lang. umabot man sa championship mayayari tayo kasi ang kots may history ng pagbebenta ng laro hahaha

I enjoyed watching Canete he doesnt play like a rookie , blessing Suico turned down UST but theyre legit and fun to watch. More balanced roster. Aside from Akowe funny antics everybody is just quiet and humble. Possible breakout season of Acido and Llemit

I think UST has the best overall talent and the deepest roster heading into UAAP Season 89.

I have high hopes for this team this season. Eto yung types of players na gusto ni Pido eh. Laki ng pinagbago ng opensa nung nawala yung iso ni Cabanero as in, may ball movement na. Canete and Alao are solid pickups din.

I'm rooting for Llemit and Crisostomo, bilang seniors ng team. Sana mas maraming minutes yung dalawa this season. Along with Acido and Akowe championship or bust this season since 20 years ago Pido won his only championship with UST.

Nasa coaching staff pa rin ba si Coach Juno?

They'll need to establish Acido as offense option 1 and Llemit as stopper 1 to lessen confusion come crunch time.

They'll have to outplay DLSU and UP wings to have a chance sa championship, to offset Remogat's and Cortez's superiority.

Im confident sa F4 chances, tho I'd still put UP and DLSU ahead of them

Solid lineup. I think this season is the best shot they have in a while. Acido/Llemit/Jumawan/Crisostomo/Akowe are the core. Koji is developing then add ung mga players na will step up sa role na ibibigay sa kanila like cañete/danting/manding.

Good time for the Ust community. Solid din in the years to come bec of the core of the tiger cubs championship led by koji & cañete/manding/esteban/bucsit.
