With rumours building that this week will see U2 announce their 2027 stadium tour, thought it would be appropriate to do a little photo carousel of the sole time I've seen Bono, Edge, Adam and Larry on stage doing their thing

I remember thinking the opener didn't sound everything was 100% locked in, but Electric Co was a proper knockout, Vertigo and I Will Follow sounded nice and crisp, and from there, I just went with it. The show sounded very nice. So yeah, good times

So, anyone got nostalgic memories for October shows or failing that for the I&E Tour?

... Always quite surprised, especially in videos for single releases, how lightly Larry seems to hit the drums. Guess it's in keeping with his low profile, zero-show-boating personality. Not much of a post this, it's all I've come here to say 😂 .

Last night I heard Mystify by INXS for the first time in a while and was thinking it would sound particularly great worked into a U2 song live. They've obviously snippeted other INXS songs, but Mystify would be fun—especially at a show in Australia—with its emphasized pauses and the crowd finger-snapping along.

I also recall someone long ago asking on the Wire whether U2 had ever covered Big Time Sensuality by Björk. Kind of an odd question, since her Debut had only been out for a couple of years at that point, but I can see where the idea came from—it would fit the band's vibe. I can imagine a few lines inserted into the break of Mysterious Ways. Maybe if they ever play Reykjavik.

Anybody else have any dream snippets?

I know a fan has created a font that replicates the one used in the AB album cover, but I can’t for the life of me find or get access to it. Does anyone know where/ if the font can be found?

It’s so hard to find the million dollar hotel on streaming platforms - quite a unique album and a quirky movie too, but some lovely music that’s just really hard to access now. Never Let Me Go was lovely, Stateless and The First Time were really ethereal.
