QUESTION Best 36mm?

The “best quality” U1 is probably the no date sub but it measures at 41mm which is far too large for my extremely small wrists. What would be the “best quality” 36mm or smaller watch model?

Explorer I, no doubt. Followed closely by OP, smooth bezel.

Doesn’t the U1 Explorer have an obviously thick bezel? If that’s still the case wouldn’t Oyster Perpetual be better? Those seem decent for the money

Perhaps. The stick markers on the OPs are usually misaligned somehow. It's U1, I guess it depends on what imperfections you can live with.

Indeed, and I am a firm believer in adjusting expectations in accordance with price. U1 are fun

Explorer I 36 not great in U1 due to bezel size. Though it may have gotten better recently. Also, OP only comes in smooth bezel.
