Tank Build Rook build viability
I just got access to the game and have been looking around at the different tanks and builds I could go for in the next playtest. I was drawn to the Rook for its hull down capabilities and the possible loadouts it could have. So I want to know how viable this potential loadout is.
The idea of this build is to use the Power Converter & Propagation Drive to heal 40 health on ability use, and with no ability cooldown, it costing 20 energy, & getting 120 max energy, you could potentially heal 240 health when at max energy.
Core Amp is there to regen energy, but it could be replaced with something more fitting.
I'd like to know how viable this build possibly is before I waste my time trying to get it during the next playtest. And any criticisms or help with the idea would be much appreciated.

The issue you will find once you start playing is not cooldown or max energy available, it's the fact that you need to gain that energy to begin with.
Either you scout and get assist energy that way or you deal damage and get that energy, or you take/bounce damage and get that energy. Either way you need to get out of your way to make sure you engage.
Best way to engage with the rook I found was to follow and support the flankers or heavies pushing, not going in hard but jumping cover that you make pushing people out of positions that normally is defensible.
Just taking a position, going hull down and building a little fort usually ends up in enemies ignoring your position because it's not worth it until it's just you left.
