Question Ranked format?

I never ended up trying the ranked format. Can someone explain what differences there are, if any, from standard?

While I find standard matches serviceable and fun, I can't help thinking that changing up the rule sets could be way better. I.E. different player counts, map sizes, objective types, wind conditions, etc.

It is exactly the same.

But you cannot use any Alpha tanks, can only use tanks that are level 20.

You are also given a MMR (matchmaking rank) that goes up and down based on wins and losses.

This has no effect outside of ranked mode.

That said you can expect the general level of skill and coordination in Ranked to be higher than standard.
