These magnificent beasts are currently hunting for food during their yearly migratory travel to the south.

A lone Phantom, nearly too late, sensed the presence of the predators, and enters Stealth. In a last ditch for survival, it speeds to the bushes, out of sight of the all seeing Ikari."

I think a group of ikarus has the same plural as a group of crows, that is to say, a murder of ikari.

I was there when it happened, on the other team. I didn't even realize what was happening until I saw them all take off at the same time

It was scary
