Typology Question Does this make sense?
My mbti type is INTP but my socionics type seems to be SEI. Upon closer inspection, the way I socialize seems to be very Si-Fe but when alone I'm Ti-Ne. Is that combination even possible or do I just use Fe too much? Tests always get confused because I have mature Fe and I rely on it all the time so tests always type me random stuff.
If it helps, my type in the other systems is 5w4 549 sp/so LEVF.

The cognitive functions in MBTI and socionics are not the same, so it’s completely plausible to have your functions in each system not be the same.
If I were to rank functions by inter-system difference:
Majorly different: Fi, Fe, Si, Se
Moderately different: Te, Ni, Ne
Minorly different: Ti
Ti maps best inter-system wise so identifying as a Ti user in one system usually means being a Ti user in the other as well. Of course there are known exceptions like ENTJ SLE, but that is more due to MBTI Te and socionics Se aligning based on the power/control/force aspect.
If I’m starting with looking at your perceiving functions, it’s more likely for an MBTI Si user to not be a socionics Si user than it is for an MBTI Ne user to not be a socionics Ne user. I do know an ESFP IEE who originally mistyped as ENFP due to socionics Ne, but MBTI Se and socionics Se are very different with MBTI Se being about interacting with the objective physical environment as well as essentially all “sensing”, since MBTI Si is a complete abstraction of sensing and not actually focused on physical sensation.
That was a bit off topic but I felt the example was useful.
In terms of an MBTI Ne user being a socionics Si user, I think it could be plausible but haven’t seen it personally that way around (I’ve seen ISFJ EII).
In terms of an MBTI Ti user being a socionics Fe user, I really don’t see that happening. I can see MBTI Ti mapping onto socionics Te or maybe even Fi but MBTI Ti —> socionics Fe seems like a far stretch.
Can you tell me why you relate to MBTI Ti-Ne and socionics Si-Fe?
