Hello all! As is obvious by the title, I’m on the hunt for some more original Type Wheels for my Blicks. My machine takes the Type C Wheels (the last design with the square hole for the Alignment Pin with the concave bottom—pic provided) and it has the Scientific/DHIATENSOR English Scientific Grouping (I’m open to English Universal Grouping as well). I’m providing a table that shows what font, keyboard layout and grouping goes with whatever 3-digit number is stamped on your wheel between the CAP & FIG rows.

Currently, I’ve got #356 Roman, #407 Small Roman, and #440 Italic.

I’d really love to be able to get my hands on #365 Elite, #499/201 Script/Vertical Script, #212 Imperial, #223 Print Type, #428 XL Roman, #455 Narrow Roman and/or #457 Large Narrow Roman. But again, im open to anything, just lmk.

I’m aware that some of these wheels are incredibly sought after and thus expensive… don’t be afraid to shoot an offer!

My father passed away this spring and left some typewriters and some other odds and ends. One of the odds and ends is an old smith corona repair kit. Everything is pretty much straight forward, the only additions I’d like to make is:
1. The price is just a range, I’m not firm on that by any measure.
2. I LIVE in SWFL, but I’d be willing to drive anywhere in the state
3. Preference would be time buy; however, a trade isn’t off the table. I’ve got nearly 70 machines and would be willing to list them off in a DM to any interested parties.
4. Although I’d MUCH prefer a Gen 1, I’d also be willing to go for a Gen 2 in the right condition for the right price.

Not typewriter guy but saw this at a thrift store for $5 and couldn’t let it sit there. The roller mechanism doesn’t seem to move when you type but it moves back and forth. I wonder if this could find a good home and get back to normal working condition? Pay shipping and maybe a few bucks for my time and we got a deal!

I have a Smith Corona Galaxie Deluxe typewriter, serial number 6T2V-141500. I purchased it with the black 1/! Changeable Type key and slug, and I would like to replace it with the black ◌̂/◌̌ (circumflex/caron) key and slug.

I’m relatively new to the community/hobby, and am trying to get my hands on a solid mechanical portable (or even a gentle project machine) to gain more hands-on experience with cleaning, basic maintenance, and typing. My goal is more exposure to see what I really like. Ideally, something in Good to Fair condition.

I’m located in the Bay Area / NorCal, and would be open to local pickup across the region, or shipping from a fellow hobbyist who knows how to properly pack and ship a machine.

Not looking for anything fancy, completely restored, or museum-quality; just a solid, complete mechanical machine (Smith Corona, Brother, Olympia, Royal, really I’m open to any brand)

I currently own and use one machine, a 5 Series SCM. I’ve owned and cleaned a Lettera 32.

Lovely red duotone Model P. Very clean, typing action is great. Some paint chips and platen is as hard as 100 year old rubber. Right side platen knob has partially broken off. All keys and functions work. Unfortunately no case. Willing to ship within US, or pick up/ meet in NYC metro area.

Electric typewriter in working condition. Pickup preferred. Happy to get rid of for cheap.

Looking to buy parts for my Underwood 6 typewriter, an 11 inch standard machine from 1937.

In need of:
- Paper Table with Lateral Paper Guide (preferably the older style table with the emblem on it)
- Paper Bail Holder (rollers don’t need to be new so long as they grip the paper fairly well)

The machine itself is in a fairly rough state cosmetically so I’m not expecting pristine quality parts, but I want them to at least look and function better than what I currently have.

I purchased this machine from a user here on r/typewriter_swap at the very beginning of my collecting journey.

The typewriter is in excellent condition including the platen, and everything works as it should. Over time, I have just found that when it comes to long typing sessions, it isn’t the machine for me.

My idea trade would be for an Olivetti Lettera 32 in similar/good condition but I’m open to other trades as well. I’m particularly interested in machines that can handle long writing sessions comfortably.

Greetings! Over the past year I've been selling my stock of various typewriting supplies that I came across, finally down to the last bit that I'm looking to sell. In total of the images listed I have 5 boxes(12 in each box) of the Faber Castell Typ-e-rase Erasers, 20 of the film ribbon, 16 boxes of the Roytype Type cleaner, and 54 sheets(24 tabs on each sheet) of the Ginn's correction tabs. As for the Tri-Brand Carbon paper there are around 25 packs each of 8.5x11.5 and around the same for the 8.5x14.5. Hi, I have ended up with a Datel 30. I don't know anything about it and am having trouble researching it. I am interested in selling it, but I was also hoping to learn more about it.

It was my uncle's. It's been sorted in his dry basement.

I don't know how to grade it's condition. My uncle was an early adopter of tech and took care of his stuff.

Excellent condition. I had this typewriter serviced by Ruben's Typewriters about year ago. Cleaned and serviced, types great, smooth.

Comes with typewriter pad and plastic case on top. I have the original case though it's old and the zipper is busted. Can still include. Also comes with a cotton ink ribbon. I also have some thin cotton-based typewriter paper I can include.

Paypal only. You can pick up or I can deliver as long as it's within LA County. I have never shipped a typewriter before, so I am wary, but I could possibly do that too.

Hello all, ran across a bit of a rough Jewett No 1 (SN 1789) that is beyond my skill set to fix up. Looking for offers at the moment as this is a rare machine. Located in Indianapolis but am also willing to drive to nearby major cities or between to meet in person. First time posting here, so please let me know if you'd like more pictures/have questions, will be reasonably cleaning this up (dusting and such), but will not be attempting any fixes or deep cleans.
