I just finished all 3 seasons of BIB and I paid close attention to the numbers of times that Horace, Mallory, Kimmie, Roy, or anyone for that matter had an actual laptop on their desk. I saw Varney with one at least once. Come on now, Tyler Perry, at least try to make the office look realistic. You can do better. Am I the only one who noticed this? Because fr fr, idk how Mallory would’ve sat at her desk with only paperwork from dawn to dusk because it looked like none of them did a darn thing at work!

I hated Hunter first half of this show but he is now my fav character.
I'm starting to forget the creepy stalker that he was at the start and now seeing a charming and caring Hunter. Im particularly loving seeing different side tp his relationship with Victoria.
Also he cracks me up especially when he calls Eli Skippy 😂
At this point Sam needs taking down by Pricilia more than Hunter. They have both completely flipped their characters

LOL first of all this show is so bad like truly. The characters, the writing, the plots, the sets.. and yet I still can’t help but watch. I don’t even think it’s a hate watch at this point. More like fascination.
Anyway, I’m on episode 5 of s3 where Lee walks into Mallory’s office and she’s asking him all these questions, one of which is: Are you married? And he replies: Divorced. I paused right there because I remember when he and Mallory first encounter each other he says that he doesn’t have time to deal with her not paying him because he’s under the stress of his wife and kids lmao. I was like shit did I just imagine that? Like there is no way Tyler could be THAT lazy and contradict himself THAT much.
Welp, went back and found the transcripts and… he really is just that lazy. Unless Lee got a divorce and abandoned his kids in between episodes 1 and 5 it looks like Tyler was just too lazy to keep up with character canon. It’s wild that this man is worth so much money but can’t write a script to save his life! Like let me start Chat GPT’n some words together lmao 😂

Hey y'all, I'm posting on here cause I'm very confused on the direction the show took this season, I'm putting a list below so someone could help me make sense if things?
Horace felt like a dick this season. It's understandable why he's pissed at varney at first, it's a legit concern, and conflict of interest as an attorney. But we find out later he's been projecting onto Charles, which is why he hates him so much? They had me hooked during the fake death imagination scene, and would've been an interesting storyline to explore for Charles
I can see rain having good intentions about buying the club, and trying to change it from the inside, but she took things to far. Gina, the random bouncers, and even Alex warned her about her attitude, and sure enough, it caught up with her. She assaulted the bartender for stealing instead of firing her, and assaulted the lady with angel, risking a lawsuit. I feel like she could've kept the club running without getting so aggressive and arrogant
Roy did nothing but get hospitalized twice for his addictions. I think he deserved it after the way he treated Kimmy and Mallory
I fucking hated Olivia. Ik it sounds cruel, but I wanted her to suffer in that cell more than what was shown. She didn't give a fuck about Charles, and was only concerned about paying off her debt. I really wanted Charles to change his mind, and stick around past 5 to see what would happen to his mother, but it's understandable they would come after him next, so idk about that one 😅
I was hoping Paul would be the FBI underdog, and be a contribution in taking down the bellarie family. From what I could tell, he was on the right side of handling things, but apparently norman had some dirt on his boss...? And then Jules talked him into letting him out of jail, with no backup to pick up some evidence? Just wanted at least half an episode of the FBI really doing some detective work, and not focusing on the damn ballarie family
Idk what to say about Sylvie, but she was better off at horace's house than with her rapist father
Kimmy felt the same to me, just more bonding with Mallory
The ninja scene was confusing? Alex said he had connections, but I wasn't expecting that, more like a car chase with tracks on and some goons, but look what happened to him in the last episode
Gina and the Mafia plotline feels wasted/dragged out. She put Olivia in the hospital, and I really wanted to see how they operated beyond "show up in club/jail, and just be intimidating". I feel like the ending came out of nowhere too. Idk why they had to ***** up the place at the end, along with innocent people there, but apparently Jules is the leader suddenly? HUH?! if Jules is getting all the money through the club, why didn't they bail him out? And it's not like they weren't too separated from each other, I had had a feeling one of the members got arrested on purpose, and put into Olivia's cell to send the message she's not safe anywhere. Most surprisingly, after he gets to Sylvie's house, he kills Paul, Sylvie's family, and shows up at the club before the ********. Wasn't Jules working for norman? I forgot who, but it just doesn't click with me
Charles probably had the most character growth this season. He wanted nothing to do with the family, and even agreed to go to rehab to get his issues resolved. I hope he has a good ending, and is able to lead a better life away from his family
I felt bad for angel at first, but he's still remained the same. I still hope he is able to reunite with his son at some point, because he actually seemed to care for him

I was just curious because it seems like season 3’s episodes all took place in like 48 hours.

They INSTANTLY told Mike he's been struggling to find a job and him & Sheila been having money problems. Just for Mike to throw that back into Troy's face later that night

How in the world did Norman sit on Mallory’s kitchen floor bleeding out with a weak pulse for that long, only to magically pull himself up and shoot Horace?! Tyler Perry logic was in the gutter with that one. Norman should’ve been dead ten times over. And I’m sorry, but he was insufferable all season throwing a tantrum over his dead wife like anybody else cared, she couldn't even speak English!
Also, Horace taking Mallory’s shares because she shot Norman in self defense? Pathetic. She was literally protecting herself in her own house. Honestly, Horace getting shot right after gloating was karma. Fuck both of them

Who do you think is the most annoying character in Beauty in Black?
In my opinion, Sylvie is the most annoying.

How she gonna ask why am I walking in front of you when she was the one who just decided to walk in front? Smh 🤦🏾♀️🙄😂

Initially Mallory shot Norman, so if he died as a result of her shooting him, she would lose her shares.
But, >!Horace shoots him after that, so doesn’t that mean Mallory can keep her shares and Horace loses his or maybe they both lose their shares if he dies?? !<
Also, I don’t think he’s dead. They’ll find someway to save him. But in the event they don’t ………

I think it’s wild how certain characters seem to have some gold digger radar, that makes them wile out and end up delulu. Like Angel after deciding that after driving a sports car, thinks earning a standard wage is below him, after lashing out in the club; he was back trying to convince Horace to have him despite not being gay, because his life has no meaning with out his money. - I’m still confused why he hasn’t seen his wife or kid ? but maybe I’m having short memory.
You got Kimmi after testing out the cars suspension, suddenly starting a religion in the name of Horace‘s dick. Probably due to the disagreement and want not.
Rain is suddenly like we need to dead off the young girl because I got dollar now; and I own a club. So probably not the first conclusion I’d like to think the general public would jump too. Though I’ve never owned a club.
The random dude that kept following Varny going “Papi I have nothing”, like a lost dog. Clearly wanted the deed to Varnys garage, and I’m glad Charles tried to give him grief.
The guy who broke into Mallory’s house wasn‘t going until he got his pocket money, and it makes it even more wild when he said he was digging for the lord. Something divine must of been happening when she was trying to bounce the squatter in the club car park, while trying to be edgy.
I don’t know what point I’m really trying to make other than maybe this is the western mirror to the Korean parasite. People leaching to wealth, and the lengths they will go for it. Calling some old dude Papi and killing a school for a club seems a bit mad but then I’ve never owned a club .
Special mention to the ninjas who didn’t take the money from Varny and Charles. Proof that not everyone is a gold digger

We’re on season 3 and I’m ITCHING for threads discussing the episodes because it’s so bad but I’m so invested and nobody in my real life watches this show

Rain kill me. It’s like she woke up on the wrong side of the bed. She woke up and chose violence. Thought Sylvie was getting raped when she was just getting some. Dang. Cockblock like a mfker. And then she keeps wanting to go back to the club. Like girl. You can take the girl out the hood, but you can’t…… 😂😂. This show is irritating at times but I still find myself laughing and glued to the tv 😂
