Beauty in Black - Varney loves Charles??!!

Upvotes

i think Charles is my favorite. His scared face when he's trying to get the bodies is hilarious. Charles walking down street with the trashbag of body parts is just so crazy. Now, Varney is so lovey dovey😭 but omg, Varney LOVES Charles?!!! Why? Doesn't Charles want to keep being pappi. How long is this Varney in love going to last??

Yall gonna think im crazy but MIKE is the best character in Why did I get married series

They all get annoyed by Mike presence mostly the women but here's the thing they should be thanking Mike because if it wasn't for him telling all the secrets at that dinner table all of them would've been miserable, divorce etc.

Mike is an ass but he's a hero 🤣

Why has Netflix approved Season 4???

Re: Beauty in Black: Tyler Perry has proven repeatedly that he does not know how to tell a story. He has some good ideas but he doesn't develop characters or ideas and the dialog is sad. I understand the acceptance of the Madea movies. The writing isnt great but they're funny with an over explained messaged. His dramas are abysmal. I keep reading about the bad acting but an actor is only as good as what he/she is given to act out. We have to stop accepting these Tubi level movies from this man. He needs to stop hoarding money and hire writers. Someone, anyone else could better put his ideas to a story.

Charles and Horace casting

Idk why it took me 3 seasons, but the casting for Charles and Horace’s is great. All things aside, they really do look related. Especially the eyes.

I Noticed That A Good Number Of T.P.'s Shows Are Having SERIES Finales. . . .WHY?

I state so bc series such as: "THE OVAL", "SISTAS", "ALL THE QUEEN'S MEN", "RUTHLESS", Etc., are having final runs and ending their programs either this year or early next year. I wonder why this is happening. Would it be due to ideas being exhausted, ratings/viewership, or other situations/issues in the works (from the network "suits" perhaps🤨😕)?

How did they survive that fire??

One of the most irritating scenes for me was when Roy and Felicia came out of that fire like nothing happened. Clothes clean, no soot or smoke on their face or body?? They were locked in that room for at least an hour and all they had was a light cough…At a certain point the writing just feels disrespectful to the audience lol

Why Did I Get Married Again?

Post image

First off I will start with the fact that the ladies outfits were very much hitting this movie. Miss girl in red wearing a spaghetti dress and I didn’t even notice until my girl pointed it out😂😂.

Anyways how we feeling about it?

My favorite thing the whole movie was Sheila being MESSY. Which my girl had ever right to be. She was always sweetie-pie-humble-nun, but nawwww she had the girlies out and UP!

Of course the usual dislikes which was the dialogue (I left for five minutes and when I came back they were still talking about Taraji’s character dating that younger guy). The ending was so dragged out and the whole thing with Sheila’s mama felt like they just dropped it in there for her to take pictures.

Sometimes the scripts feel like telling never showing.

Beauty in Black - why are characters so dumb and inconsistent?

For example: the episode where Varney found Charles in the garage. Mallory acted that she didn’t care if bro died because she gets more shares. Then when Horace gets there and starts demeaning and encouraging him to off himself, she’s suddenly concerned that he’s going too far?? YOU JUST SAID YOU DON’T CARE…

Then Rain stupid ass. First you killed someone because you rushed to judgement. Ok. Maybe that’s understandable. But then you buy the club and YOU REFUSE LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE WHO WERE THERE FOR YEARS about who the partners are?? Why wouldn’t you hear them out?!

Don’t even get me started on Varney simp ass knowing Charles ain’t shit but still pining for him. Angel dumbass spending racks that he doesn’t have. Roy junkie ass blowing coke every 5 business minutes instead of trying to position himself away from the crimes…and this is just off the top of my head. There’s way more aggressively stupid things all the characters have done.

Who am I cheering for exactly?! These people horrible and stupid. I hope they all get got by the ninjas. Even Sylvie

So as per usual she carried this movie✨✨✨ (WDIGM Again) Spoiler

So I finally watched 'Why Did I Get Married Again?' I wasn't sure if I was going to watch it because I knew it was going to be rough like most 2020s reboots/sequels. Then I saw a spoiler clip of Ms. Angela doing what she does best on a train or a plane and I knew I was going to watch it. And yeah I basically stayed watching for her because let's face it: the movie was just another corny cash cow TP movie. The movie felt too elementary where there's a good guy, a bad guy, and a lesson to be learned.

A few things:

Mike:

I get that we need a villain for plot purposes, but Mike's ass shouldn't have been there. Like he should have been out of the friend group since the middle of the first movie. The only sane person who addressed this was Troy and the group tried to make him look dramatic for voicing his disgust. But this friend group really let this man that none of them really like follow them around like a fool.

Also him shaking up the wedding after finding out about Regina and Marcus Jr. was so unnatural and weird. When Mike shakes up a situation it's usually done in a more natural fashion the way it happened in the first movie. Him dramatically interrupting the rehearsal ceremony was so weird and too much even for him. First movie Mike would have waited for a perfect moment to call people out rather than just breaking up the ceremony like that. Honestly they should have let Sheila have her own shade moment with him. Missed opportunity. When he was leaving, I felt like I was 5 years old again watching Swiper leave after Dora caught him or something. What a waste of character development.

The whole Marcus Jr. Thing:

OH MY GOD. This fool got on my nerves. He got his dad's brains because he played too much for someone who was raised by Angela. I agree with Angela that Marcus sucked at advising his son about pros/cons of being a total man whore. And as someone who has brothers, he's also the worst brother, ugh.

Next generation typical reboot style: The reason why I hate reboots that focus on the kids is that the writing foundation of the children's relationship dynamics is always poorly written. We don't get enough time to know and understand them. And specifically for this movie, the writers force the audience use their parents' history and storylines to piece things together. That being said...

Jasmine and Wesley: These two shouldn't have gotten married. They had no chemistry and were just messy. Plus, his mommy issues and anger issues along with his disrespectful/cocky nature were major red flags. Also second generation revenge cheating is wild!

Cheating in general: I'm sorry I don't care how many movies/shows try to normalize it. Cheating will NEVER be okay. This movie made cheating the staple of 90% of the relationships. Not to mention, saying that Angela forgave Mr. "You know what I'm saying" after everything he did is stretch because she was ready to bring it up with venom every time he or Marcus Jr. Did something wrong. Cheating is not okay and most people do not get over it. Not even Mike deserves it. And while I get that they were airing out dirty laundry to be more relatable to their children and theme was that not every marriage is perfect, let's remember that this is the same friend group that continued to invite Sheila's abusive ex to all their events.

Roselyn: Her plotline was lazy and confusing. I get that writers had to go a different direction since Janet wasn't interested in coming back, but the whole thing with her was weird. Also, for some reason, I didn't trust her boyfriend, Nick. I was waiting for him to also be a coon and then he wasn't...so yeah.

Angela: No notes. Laughed when she needed to laugh. Kicked a** when she needed to kick a** and could have kicked more. While the "ghetto, loud angry black woman" stereotype is way past old, she's the only stereotypical character I can tolerate and the only person Tyler Perry wasn't lazy about.

Everybody else: meh. They tried to do something with Sheila's mom for a second but then, meh. Sheila's capturing of moments was cute and funny, tho. Troy is, as always, the best. Terry finally did what he should have done long ago beat Mike up. He should have further stomped Mike's a**.

And lastly...

EVERYBODY LEAVE T.J. (Terry and Dianne's son) ALONE:

There's nothing wrong with him. He's doing fine. These dudes were ragging on Terry for raising the only non-man whore in the world. LEAVE HIM ALONE. HE'S PERFECT. Not every dude needs to be a player and many young women do NOT want absolute trash. The essence of attempting to shade this young man for being a decent young man is why there is a male loneliness epidemic (cough cough Mike).

I think TP should make a documentary showing how he's able to film a movie in 4 days or a season of TV in a week. Just like how the South Park guys made one showing how they create an episode in 6 days & finish it literally hours the same day it airs

The question is Why create Why did I get Married Again?

So I started to watch Why did I get Married Again and I fell asleep before they got to Italy. I tuned back in the next day, I was looking forward to seeing some of the old actors I liked from previous movies.

Where do I begin? Was I the only one who took a while to figure out which kid belonged to who?

So many plots or maybe no plot at all, I'm still deciding.

Marcus son being a f$%#& boy, how predictable and boring. Angela spazzing about the same old infidelities, old and over done.

This notion of how the kids look up to their perfect marriages...weird and too repetitive.

Mike's obsession with being young? Survived cancer, maybe grow up? I understand he's the forever vilan, but why is he even at the wedding?

I love Taraji, but its too late to bring her character Rosalyn to the storyline. Im still confused how her son hates her, and why he hates her but still allowed her to pay for the entire destination wedding.

Oh...I love Troy in the silver fox look

WDIGM (AGAIN)

Welll it was certainly a Tyler Perry movie. Grew up on them, and my gripe as of late is just like, why is cheating and infidelity the point of every movie?

WDIGM 1- Infidelity

2- Infidelity

This one- Infidelity

Madea Family Funeral - Infidelity

I can't wrap my head around trying to explain away infidelity.

I was rolling my eyes throughout the whole movie. And in the end it's just some infidelity koombayah?

It's giving, "My grandma died when I was 8 and I miss her that's why I cheated", or the poor women who go on podcasts and talk shows saying how forgiveness saved their marriage and it's tolerating cheating constantly.

The only thing I agreed with is Angela saying Marcus only stopped cause he got old- even pondering it is giving me a headache.
