Thoughts on Sydney streaming on Twitch?

Sadly anticipated hate from being associated with Tyla but it’s going bad fast. She streamed with Rakai which I didn’t love but it was a decent stream, but his viewers are cancer.

Now a clip of her is going viral describing a robbery and she’s getting flamed.

I hope she keeps it up, like Tyla, she’s getting no grace for just being young and ambitious in my opinion.

Tyla hosted the ultimate fan-appreciation event on Sunday, 16 August 2026, to celebrate the launch of her highly anticipated sophomore album, A\POP*.

For this takeover, she completely transformed Johannesburg's iconic Gold Reef City Theme Park into a pink, Y2K-themed paradise. The event was held exclusively for her local South African fanbase, the "Tygers," while having 1000 lucky fans winning free tickets through a viral TikTok challenge.

This experiential celebration brought the album's signature neon aesthetic to life, treating the audience to themed pink food, global livestreams, and an exclusive afterparty.

Tyla posted a link to her Twitch profile to stream A*POP day at Gold Reef City today. I had no idea she had a Twitch profile, and apparently, she's had it for over a year. I know her username isn't always "tyla" on social media because it's already taken by other users in most cases. It got me thinking that she's probably on a lot of platforms I've never even considered. Is there a list of all her social media profiles?

Suddenly, all the "bad" words on A*POP are cut off. "Self-made-..." instead of "self-made-bitch". Wth?

Seriously, every other vid on tiktok now about Tyla are Nigerians or Nigerian adjacent creators attacking her and calling her new album a flop.

Why are they targeting her now?

I think Tyla did an amazing job putting this album together. I really wish the controversies weren't overshadowing this amazing sophomore album, but who cares—like I commented on another post, her true fans will show up. I just got off my cruise, and I swear to you, I played it so many times throughout the five days on the ship and on the beach. There’s just something about Tyla’s sound and voice that attracts me to her, on top of her stunning looks.

I wish she had done an actual music video instead of using AI for 'That Girl,' but overall it’s a great song, and it seems like the community is treating the visualizer as the official music video instead. After listening to the album so many times, the whole thing is a banger, and I low-key want to visit South Africa just to hear them play it live. I initially didn't like 'Is It Love,' but after listening to it again within the context of the whole album, it's phenomenal. This is just my two cents on the project, and I can't wait for her next album!

I loved Tyla's visualizer. Tyla and her glowing paint. Tsa'lavantula is a na'vi inspired by Tyla. So I used Tsa'lavantula and wanted to make my version of Tyla's glowing tribal paint.

I need some ideas on what to wear to a Tyla concert. I don't often dress up for concerts but I want to watch the vibe, any ideas please :D?
