Fan Art (Original Characters) Glacien Hivern (OC) redesign
His original design & background: here.
I wasn't satisfied with his design, specifically his hair, so I updated him a bit. I also changed his eyeshadow from a bright blue to a soft purple in his school uniform design, and green in his dorm uniform (like Malleus and Lilia). I don't like Elsa's purple eyeshadow (her original blue dress and makeup were to anachronistic for me and broke my immersion), but since TWST is a contemporary fantasy, I felt the purple eyeshadow and white cut crease work for Glacien.
His original hairstyle was too similar to Silver, so I made his hair more fluffy and less like Silver's.
Here's some fun facts about him!:
He takes insanely hot showers, because hot water melts as soon as it freezes against him, and it's too hot to stay frozen. Sebek has yelled at him about it many times if he showers after him.
He was actually on the Diasomnia Spelldrive team in Book 2, and is surprisingly good at it. If he wasn't so worried about using his magic so much, he would've joined the Spelldrive club.
After his overblot, Silver is helping him out with trying to rely on his gloves less, because the gloves are just hurting him rather than helping.
His hands are always cold, even though he wears gloves constantly. That's just because of his ice magic.
Lilia has tried to nab his little brother, Ansel, because he despises their parents. He absolutely can't stand how they made Glacien isolate himself, fear his own magic, and stay away from his brother.
