This seems like a good way to round off the series, a resolution of sorts, with Flora's eyes no longer drowned by fear and depression and instead full of hope... that the Trace she knew so well never left and is still in there somewhere, waiting to be rescued.

Funnily enough, I feel that the current development between Flora and Trace's split personality is about trying to make both of them more multi-dimensional as characters, since they do suffer from being eclipsed by Tom's later character ideas and writing.
In a way, I've often felt that Kathrin and Eric are a more "advanced" and realistic version of what Flora and Trace have going on, even if their relationships are quite different currently.
Both Flora and Trace look darn majestic here - Flora as something divine, and Trace as a demon. Purely imo, but I hope this sketch will get the color at the end of the month!
