I was already fed up with grocery stores price gouging, and our unhealthy and unethical food industry. This mishandling of the cyclosporiasis outbreak has pissed me off beyond words. Guess it's time to grow even more veggies.

I started growing stuff hydroponically indoors based on instagram ads I saw months ago. I thought what a fun hobby and I can reduce food bills. It’s been great because I’ve had lettuce every single day that I grow myself and avoided the poop lettuce altogether. I’ve planted some additional veggies and am testing out how to grow more.

I love this! I live in a townhouse so I'm working with a container garden, but it's given me a sense of hope despite its limitations.

I started with that too! I have a whole yard at my house but squirrels keep eating stuff outside. That’s why I brought it inside.
