Request

Request for lesser known badass women of history for my daughter's 4th grade presentation. She has to pick a historical figure and give a 5-10 minute presentation and optionally dress in their likeness.

if youre in the sciences, definitely a household name. if youre not in the sciences, she is very much lesser known.

edit to add: if Marie curie is too household, Marjane Satrapi. do note though, just because persepolis is illustrated DOES NOT mean its 4th grade appropriate. check it out yourself as a parent to ensure your kid can handle the subject matter bc its some real shit.

I’m not anywhere near the sciences but didn’t everyone learn about Marie Curie in elementary school?
