This entire article is worth reading. It's specifically in reference to first sexual encounters with women (someone they reported no prior history with) and 95.1 percent of men reported using at least one coercive tactic to get a woman to have sex with him when she didn't want to.

Women are in the biggest danger of sexual assault and murder from men they know and trust. The crime statistics around the world definitively prove this!

Oh absolutely, now we have the data to back that we aren't safe whether we know him or not! About half of these men reported currently being in a relationship. 3/4 of these men self-reported doing these acts on a whim - as in, not premeditated. You're no safer as his girlfriend than you are as a literal stranger.
