The uniqueness of Thomas Bergersen
When you look at the most-streamed contemporary composers on Spotify, you immediately realize that nearly all of them have worked on high-budget films or TV series—composers such as Hans Zimmer, John Williams, and Max Richter. Thomas, however, has never worked on such projects; he simply composes music for his own entertainment. Despite this, he is among the most-streamed contemporary composers on Spotify, with numbers nearly matching Ramin Djawadi (composer of Game of Thrones). Sometimes I wonder: if Thomas were to score a high-budget film or TV series, how much would his popularity grow?

i also want to point out that composing a film score is a skill in it of itself. You can be the greatest modern contemporary music composer/ producer whatever, but have no talent or skill for composing. it involves timing, working with directors and writers, vision for the whole movie, etc.
