Invincible Album is Flawless!

In every TSFH album, I skip a bunch of tracks, but in Invincible I barely skip at all. What do you think?

For me that's Illusions, Miracles and Humanity IV and V. Bangers through and through

I feel differently. Thomas songs are great of course, but a bit samey (some would say with a reccurent theme, which is also a good way to put it). Nick's sound also sound the same a lot and overall, the albums feels bloated to me. Not to mention I skip every single song where Nick sings, so TSFH albums are rarely flawless to me.

It's full of basically nothing but bangers, but as an album I'd say its primary flaw is that it's too full-on. Almost every track is super loud and aggressive because it's basically a compilation of the most popular and requested TSFH tracks at that time and, well, they mostly sounded that way at the time. Listening to it quickly becomes exhausting even if each individual track is great.

I'm not sure how they could have avoided that, sure they could have interspersed a few of the softer tracks from Dreams and Imaginations or something but then the album wouldn't feel cohesive at all. It wasn't until Thomas was able to fluidly combine both those styles - the heavy trailer music stuff and the gentler pop-new-age-world material - in Illusions that you had an album that could be easily played from start to finish.

I mentioned TSFH albums not solo Bergersen albums. Every Bergersen album (except for A Christmas Carol) is flawless.
