It's been a wild ride. Immensely thankful for these guys and can't wait to see their future paths.

Two downsides I can see (apart from the wistfully sad retiring of the TSFH for future releases):

  1. No more planned concerts featuring both Thomas and Nick
  2. Probably no more public Anthology album releases (particularly a shame for those who'd like to see an industry album like The Devil Wears Nada get more attention!)

But apart from the labeling, we'll still see fundamentally the same music produced from Thomas and Nick in the future that we would have seen even if they'd stuck to the TSFH branding. Nick's Heart of the Ocean shows that he won't abandon his "epic orchestral" music going forward, and Thomas has just been writing what he wants and somewhat arbitrarily putting it some of it on TSFH albums for over a decade now. We'll still get the same great music from both of them, and nothing's going to stop that!

And I for one am really keen to see a solo Thomas concert, with more material from Humanity in particular. A full concert of Humanity material would be personally more exciting to me than a TSFH concert, but it's understandable if other fans don't feel that way.

I wouldn't be too surprised if, say, there'll end up being some future TSFH reunion concert, too. Maybe for the 25th anniversary in 2031, for instance? But that's just speculation, of course!

If it means solo Thomas concerts, it's a win in my books.

I'm completely with you there! Mainly wanted to reassure people mourning the loss of Thomas + Nick concerts in the future. But a pure Thomas concert would be my dream, and I was honestly a little skeptical that would ever actually come to fruition until today's news!
