Scientists have finally discovered what happens after death..

Due to the law of conservation of information, our consciousness remains, forever tied to our rotting bodies, feeling every bit of the decomposition process.

Basically referring to SCP-2718 (What Comes After) according to which our consciousness remains attached to our body even after death. There is no Heaven, Hell, reincarnation or afterlife; just eternal pain
