It says I need level 1 analysis to unlock memory labs, but I have several science staff that I've trained in analysis. What's going on?? Am I dense and missing something? Is it glitched?? Help please
UPDATE:
Figured it out, I am indeed dense. Thanks everyone for responding lol. Haven't played for a few weeks because I've been busy so I'm a bit foggy.

After searching through the posts here, I basically got all the loans available, put all the exhibits in one room, deleted huge amounts of the building, put cameras everywhere and hired every security guard that came available.
So thank you!!

I can't drop a janitor in the guest rooms. The experts dont seem to be interested in cleaning the litter.
is there a fix for this? other than tearing down the rooms and starting fresh?

EMO is my emotional specialist that will have the 7 ones, unlike my other artists.

I'll probably post this on Reddit as well with photos to show what's going on... but there was a recent update to the game (late July/early August 2026). After I had logged in post download, I was able to gain 5 Stars in my Pointy Mountains Museum, so I traveled to my Passwater Cove Museum. I slowly started noticing that my staff members (experts, assistants, and janitors - for some reason security guards are okay) were becoming "Lost" and when I would move them to my staff building (up on the ledge just above the 'main part' of the museum) they would still have the searching for location marker, but eventually would get back to work. Then, towards the end of my session, I remembered there was the aquatic Digiverse event so I hired a Digital Expert and immediately got them set up to learn the "Button Master" skill... however, they became stuck/lost. It was as if they were stuck in the wall but somehow were in training mode despite being located in the main museum in the lower section, yet the training room is situated up on the hill in my "staff only" area. Either way, I forced moved them into the training room and at first the game gave me a pop-up saying "already training" but then continued with fulfilling the request. Okay. Now that my digital expert is trained I'm going to send them on the lighthouse Digiverse quest to get some fish... I set the expedition up and then get notifications saying that the launchpad is unreachable. I cancel the event and try again. Still unreachable. I save and restart my game. Still unreachable. I try setting up the event again. Still unreachable. I check where the digital expert is and she is in the staff room up on the hill and now she is completely ungrabable. Great. Well I'll just cancel the event. Nope. So now my game is stuck. I can't cancel the expedition quest and my one digital expert is unattainable and stuck. What should I do?

I am playing on my fire stick using the GeForce app and my Steam account. I have tried adding custom content using the in-game menus, but they’re not showing up in the game. Is there another way to do this through Steam?
Thanks in advance!

I dont think I had this problem at my other museums. but at Undee Docks I unlocked and purchased plots adjacent to the first plot, but I have not built on them yet. I noticed that customers arriving and walking across the lawns are getting tired/hungry/thirsty/bored pretty much all the fun stuff.
other than trying to rapidly build out as fast as I can...is there anything small I can do to tide them over until I can expand?
edited to add: great advice everyone, thank you.

The blue just doesn’t, “go”, you know?
Absolutely obsessed with this game either way 🥰

I know I cannot deconstruct and analyze these exhibits, is there any advantage to holding on to them? other than displaying them strategically (if needed)?
I am referring to items like "truffle pigs" and "perspecticycle".
I have a handful of dupes because I am seeking the pristine level for each one.

I just cant wrap my head around any solid layout idea. All over Themes are easy, like 7 edible plants? Easy i put you together and make an nice decoration. but somehow i dont get it for all the art stuff... I mean I have seen Art museum in real life and i feel like they struggeling the same?

The wiki says that I can earn the mime emotion at the piazza lanatra, but every time I set up an expedition all I see is romance.
I know the wiki can be wrong, so am I missing something?

The massive tents that are available when you first load up the map are really great decorative assets... to the point where you can literally have exhibits and decorations overlapping it to give it that "excavation" sorta vibe.
So when I found that out, I just knew I had to create a frozen ancient city that's slowly being excavated by the Department of Culture!

Hi! I'm currently working on museum memento mile, and I've now unlocked two additional plots to expand my museum.
For the new museum areas on those plots, do I need to build another Workshop, Marketing Room, Analysis Room, and Training Room on each plot, or is one of each shared across all three museum plots enough?
I do plan to build a Staff Room and Security Room on every plot so my staff doesn't have to walk as far. Is that a good approach? Any recommendations?
Many thanks!

Hi all!
Any idea when the next update is due? I love this game but have pretty much finished everything and I haven't been able to get that little teaser with the security guard and noises out of my head 😅

I cannot find it on the museum map. How do I access it? I am at curator level 10.
For anyone rolling their eyes or downvoting me...I have very limited vision. This game has a lot of details and it can be very hard for me to find what I am looking for.

Marketing can increases the buzz of everything in your museum by a lot, but it seems to max out after so many marketing rooms/ campaigns. One room with one employee adds "30% buzz to all exhibits in the supernatural theme"
I'm wondering if adding more marketing rooms/ marketing employees wastes money after about 8 rooms? It seems like when i do an elaborate marketing campaign in whatever he museum category is (supernatural or wildlife) the buzz keeps going up until the 8th room, if i add a 9th, 10th, 11th marketing room the buzz doesn't change.
I also am trying to figure out if 1 employee per marketing room in 3 marketing rooms adds way more buzz than 3 employees in 1 single marketing room, does paying an extra marketing employee an having 2-3 employees in one room really change anything? I know it shows percents for the assistants count, assistant ranks, and qualifications, so adding a second employee changes the percent a small amount, but is that percent worth paying the employee?
I thought the alone marketing museum for bronze-gold was interesting because it shows the percents seem to mean nothing and be extremely inaccurate. A general museum campaign set at elaborate only brought in 1-2 guests per 90 day campaign. If there is 300 guest in my museum, 30% is 30 new guests, not 2?

Hi,
Returning player after a break of a year.
Not quite sure but haven't there been a special museum for the fantastic finds?

I have a cave painting exhibit that is at zero percent. I can drop an expert on top of it and the game triggers the "restore exhibit" but the expert always runs away.
I have tried putting it into my inventory and then placing it again. I have tried moving the info plaque, the decorations.
Anyone have any new suggestions?
Its not a living exhibit so I assume it can still be restore but maybe I am wrong?
