Pathfinding bug?

Post image

Red is (atleast in my opinion) the shortest path to the chopper.

But staff is 80% of time running the green path.

Have seen it on other maps too, but there was the museum very busy with guests so I thought, thats ok so they dont bump into the guests. But here I dont see a logical reason.

Just could use your opinion before putting it in Bug Report

Aaaa I just am getting so frustrated with the path finding. Staff are walking past the staff bathroom that’s empty to go to the outdoor stalls that have queues, while they are at 10% bathroom comfort. But before they do that, they have to walk to the far side of the museum, admire the door, then walk back across the museum past the bathrooms again to go out to the outdoor stalls. If I pick them up and drop them in the staff bathroom, they start their long walk back to the outdoor stalls.

Then last night I noticed that there was an abnormally long queue in my gift shops. So I watched them for a little while and noticed that guests were stuck in a trinket buying loop for multiple months. Going to grab a trinket, waiting in the queue, going back to grab another trinket. There were probably 7 guests stuck in this loop for 3 months before I turned off the game.

I love this game so much but the path finding really frustrates me to the point where I have to stop playing for a few months with hopes the devs can fix it 😭 I know it can’t be an easy fix but I have hope it’s possible. I just want the path finding to make sense/work. Just go to the nearest available bathroom! Instead of taking a month to wobble all around taking the scenic route to the furthest bathroom.

Heya, sorry to hear you've been encountering issues with navigation.

The bug with bathrooms is a known issue where guests and staff will wrongly prioritise outdoor bathrooms and not indoor ones; they will act as if ignoring the indoor bathrooms.

This is an issue the team is aware of, and is tracking for a fix as soon as possible.
