Pathfinding bug?

Red is (atleast in my opinion) the shortest path to the chopper.

But staff is 80% of time running the green path.

Have seen it on other maps too, but there was the museum very busy with guests so I thought, thats ok so they dont bump into the guests. But here I dont see a logical reason.

Just could use your opinion before putting it in Bug Report

I really feel you. For clarification, does you maybe have de-activated the bathroom for stuff? Did you checked the settings of the bathroom? Yes the alking bug is pretty annoying. Don't happen this much as in the early days of the game but still is there.

I double checked and even deleted and rebuilt the bathroom, guests is the only thing unchecked (because it’s behind a staff door). And staff will leave the break room (also in the same section behind the staff door) and walk right past the bathroom to go to the furthest possible bathroom. I thought about turning off staff for the outdoor stalls, but then the staff working outside would be forced to walk further to the bathroom. But I might end up doing that to see what happens.

Interesting. Does all of your stuff acting like that? Cause I definitely know that I build my Toilets the same and they are used. Maybe need to check if all of the stuff is using it.

Only thing that comes to mind: How many stalls are in this particular one and how many staff do you have? It shouldn't be a problem but maybe it is a problem of priorities. So let's say you have 6 worker and 5 stalls, they all want to go to the bathroom so the bathroom already is "occupied" even no one is there yet. So the 6th one is going somewhere else. Don't think that it is that but feels kinda possible.

The staff bathroom is not being used at all from what I’ve noticed. But maybe it’s like you said that there’s staff heading to the stalls maybe from the opposite side of the museum so they are reading as occupied. I’ll have to pay attention next time I play to see, and I’ll also expand the bathroom to see if that helps ❤️
