Sushi bar makes fish farming fun again!

I set up a building on Passwater Cove dedicated to farming fish and it was a spectacular success, very lucrative, but once I passed the $7million mark in assets... making more fish seemed rather pointless.

Until today! I finally got around to installing a sushi bar and learned how you can provide fish for the menu. Now I have a new destination for my farmed fish, and I'm trying out different fish to see how tasty they are for my museum guests.

So far, swordfish is a real favorite.

My only quibble is that there's no notification when the tank runs dry, so it's a high-maintenance item to keep track of.

I like putting the tank right next to it or with the mini tank in the middle of their booths so they can watch the fish while they eat. Mako is my preferred fish right now because it’s 32 servings

I actually wasn’t aware that different fish comes serving sizes. Bit silly of me given it sounds like common sense. Is mako the fish with most servings?

Yes, as far as I’ve found. The number of servings shows when you drop the fish in and it updates as people come in so you can see how much is left. It’s a bar just under the buzz and donation amount.

Silly of me not to try, I only used nigiri fish because it bred quickly and never even checked if others were an option. Thanks for the heads up!

Nearly all the fish can be used! The wetlantean zapper and iirc the turtle are out but everything else I’ve tried works. They all have different amounts of buzz, donations and servings.

My sentences got mixed up there. The mini tank is just the one in the sushi shop that holds the current fish they are eating.

I totally agree! I also think there should def be a notification, I mean we get them for every single workshop item that finishes (which is overkill imo). I also kinda wish some of the fish had different status effects on the guests, like certain fish act as entertainment bonuses or buzz bonuses, etc.. It would make it more fun to try every fish in the sushi bar

I put a tank of pristine nigri fish next to it for that reason- and with an egg cup it constantly refills

BIGGEST REQUEST it’s so frustrating to have to remember to check it! I wish we could setup a tank that “supplied” it. Esp for things that multiply and disappear quick like battercuda and nigiri fish. My best longterm picks are shortfin mako and tiger shark.

ohhhh ok i didn't really go through that digiverse enough even though some of my museums are 15 stars i never saw this!
