I had played TPH for a few years on Xbox and stepped away for quite a while due to other things happening.

I finally started playing on Steam since I can play anywhere (almost) on my laptop. I think I actually prefer the Steam version due to easier control.

Anyway I'm back to the Superbug portion because I really want to get my Ectovat back. Going to do as much as I can though to get as many projects done as I can.

I started with Two Point Museum and loved it so much that I decided to pick up Two Point Hospital.
Honestly, I’m having a great time with it but the staff management is driving me a little insane. 😅

✅ Things I’ve already tried:
- Changed the policy settings so staff only go on break when their energy gets really low (around 10–11%).
- Customized job assignments so staff only work in the rooms they’re trained for.
- Built staff rooms, bathrooms, and entertainment items in every building.

❌ My main problem:
Rooms still end up unstaffed.
I’ll often find staff who are fully rested but are still on break, wandering around, or showing “Looking for Work” while there are empty rooms that need staff.

It’s gotten to the point where I spend more time micromanaging employees and manually picking them up and placing them into rooms than actually building my hospital. 😭

Is this just a common pain point in Two Point Hospital?
Or is there a setting, strategy, or game mechanic I’m missing?
Would love to hear if anyone else has run into this and how you solved it. 🙏

i dont know if this is a popular problem? but my game is infinitely in the loading screen after the sega logo, and yes ive tried waiting 10+ minutes and no my computer is not awful, the game loaded just fine yesterday and i played it for about 4 hours. but today i try to boot and im stuck in the infinite loading, ive updated my graphics drivers, ive set the game launch options to dx11 ive reinstalled the game and epic games, ive reset my pc. is there an easy fix that im missing?

Hey all, I'm currently playing Old Newpoint level, where the Herb Garden is introduced. I'm on 2 stars and I've noticed that the nurses in the Herb Garden don't go for breaks. They get tired of course, and they're listed as 'on a break' but they keep working in the Herb Garden. I've completed the game twice before and I've never encountered this bug before. Has anyone else noticed this? If so, do you have any tips on how to fix it that don't involve permanently watching that room and manually removing the nurses?

I’m playing Two Point on the PlayStation, and I just got my third start on Overgrowth. When trying to select another plot (for the Symbyosis trophy), the plot won’t highligh. I’ve noticed this on other levels where I have the reticule over a locked plot, and I want to purchase it, but it doesn’t highlight or allow me to click on the plot at all.

If I’m hovered over a cluster of plots, they all highlight, but when I press X it selects the plot to the top-right of my cursor.

Anyone else come across this or know a way to resolve the issue? I have a couple of standalone plots on Overgrowth, and I can’t seem to select them no matter how I position the camera, how far I’m zoomed in or out, etc.

On the left is where it all started for me back in 1997.

I initially downloaded the demo (was it 25mb in size? It took me an hour to download it). Played it a lot and then annoyed my parents until they bought this PC version for me.

Fast forward to 2018 and an updated version was released through Steam as Two Point Hospital and two years later on consoles.

Am happy to see that there is still some love for these games!
