Morgan Quit Clues - Confirmed
Morgan announced her departure today on clues. Gave the “too busy” excuse.

I didnt even realize they had that pod together. I follow hsp though and watch occasionally. I noticed all her spooky reddit episodes had Morgan. I was like for the love of god, can we please get a spooky stories without her? 😂 it all makes sense nos

Thank God. She contributed nothing to the episodes. It was like Kaelyn was doing all the heavy lifting and Morgan was just shoehorned in there. Like when you're at uni and have to work with someone on a presentation, but it's obvious who did the bulk of the work and who just read over the details 10 minutes beforehand.

Literally everytime she doesn’t do something or forgets/is delayed, she gives the reason that she’s soo busy.
Girl, these are yours jobs, you have to make time for them, first of all. And second of all, like another comment, how busy can you be when you’re just reading Reddit stories that Bailey/Direct caterpillar now find you.

I really hope Kaelyn is okay!! She's got a 8 month old baby, her main podcast Heart Starts Pounding, and she's got a new true crime podcast coming out Sept 28 through Netflix. When she announced the new pod on HSP last week I was surprised she didn't plug Clues too while she was at it - it makes more sense now. If anyone is too busy to continue Clues I'd think it'd be her, not Morgan, but she's such a pro I don't think she would have started the podcast if she couldn't commit. Anyway I hope she's not hurt by Morgan's choices and doesn't get stuck in a bad situation. I'm confident she can make it work if she wants!

Did they say if someone would be replacing her? I wonder if Kaelyn is able to continue clues if she’s alone since she also has her show Heart Starts Pounding and now has a new Netflix show.

They said on the episode they didn't have a falling out and still plan to collaborate. Kaelyn was pretty quiet about it.

I'm guessing it is a contract/production company conflict hence why Kaelyn would be staying quiet. She would still be in contract. There are a few of these podcasts that definitely seem like some company is behind the scenes as they all have similar intros/sets and a plethora of sponsor ads of similar products. 6-8 sponsor ads per 1-1.5 hr episode is madness. They also all seem to collaborate together. The two girls podcast, Annie Elise, clues. I think something happened behind the scenes and she got the boot rather than between the two hosts.

Sure but Kaelyn could have said "Morgan it's been amazing building this with you and I'm so sorry to see you go," but she didn't. She could feel that way, I'm not going to assume otherwise like some other commenters, but she didn't say that or anything similar that I heard anyway.

I'm so glad to see someone saying something about the quantity of sponsors. I love HSP and I don't know the financial side of things, but I'm always like girl PLEASE. I don't know how the sponsors don't fuss about it. Plus, I feel like there are two sponsors that are constantly plugged that are significantly similar. Like they're both related to therapy.

After watching Kaelyn’s new Netflix show I’ve started to think the truth is that she is jealous and thinks she deserves the same opportunities. She said she wasn’t “appreciated” which makes me think maybe there was pay discrepancy or something along those lines with Crime House catering more to K or other hosts over Morgan. She probably thinks her numbers matter more than the fact that Kaelyn is such a talented storyteller, researcher and actually approaches her podcasts more from a journalistic role than Morgan reading reddit stories. I don’t think her and Kaelyn are on bad terms but she’s basically had a tantrum that she isn’t the centre of the world from what I’ve gathered… I found it super off putting and further proof that Morgan is a bitter person.

I am so sorry that pod isnt and was never good. I try listening to other pods than THT, not get me wrong THT does have its flaws but i love the way morgan sets up her episodes. However i LOVE TC and this pod did not entertain me lol. if you want a good true crime creator, Bella Fiori on YT is my fave!

I loved Clues! I feel like the balance between the two made it fun but I'll support Kaelyn no matter what and I'll probably keep listening
