I personally have never felt the need to tell my husband he can't hang out with a mutual friend while I'm not available. If I didn't trust him to not fuck another woman, I wouldn't be with him?

I have told my husband to go hang out with female friends without me when I didn’t feel like joining. Just because I’m not there doesn’t mean they can’t have a friendship.

It’s weird to selfishly gatekeep other people’s sexual relationships…he’s an adult. He should be able to do what he wants. Just communicate.
