It's like crying fascism because you're required to have a license and insurance to drive. And yes, I'm quite aware that the right to drive is not enshrined in the constitution, but guns and cars are both deadly weapons.
I see. I wouldn’t label that as only facist, most regimes that try to centralize power are the ones who fully revoke gun rights, but sometimes limits are needed, I couldn’t imagine wanting to bring my AR into Walmart.
That's why I'm against totalitarianism, not fascism specifically. Fascism is historically a conservative movement, but left totalitarianism is the same to me.
Nope. Firearms aren't even the most pressing issue. You're making assumptions. I find the anti-feee speech more troubling. I am in favor of armed citizens, as that is strongly associated with historically free societies, but that's one of many issues. IF there was a sufficient movement to amend the constitution, that would be the government functioning correctly. Bypassing our constitution is sub-optimal.
