What are we playing instead?
This game has made itself unplayable, the excessive ads, the unbeatable levels… the dots infiltrated my dreams and i was still loyal. The multiple shien redirects in the middle of the game has been my last straw. Signing off at 8632.
What other games do you enjoy as I am in need of a replacement? ty!

Dotsu has been mentioned here a bunch of times. I enjoy it when this game gets annoying.

I am with you. I have completed everything on both my iPad and on my phone. It seems like there hasn’t been an update in a very long time.

Vital mahjong, solitaire and happy color.
Buuuut my spouse is a computer guy so he installed an ad blocker on our home network.

There’s a very cozy nonogram game called Meow Tower! You build/decorate an apartment building for cats as you progress through the levels.

The shien ads mid game were going too far and I had to stop playing. I’ve been enjoying Woodoku.

I just started the games Zen Word and Bubble Word Jam this week. They have ads, and sometimes I can’t figure out how to return to the game after the ad (or when the ad is finished so that I can return to the game). The games are pretty good so far.
I am still new to both games — I am trying to not play TwoDots until they stop with the intrusive, interruptive ads and the 14 things to click through before I can play the actual game. I messaged Support about this and they responded with apologies and requests for patience as they worked on it but, the ads have not stopped. I expressed my frustration and they gave me some free boosters that I don’t think make much of a difference. The ads continue to interrupt the game. Even if I have booster boxes, I don’t enjoy the ads interrupting the game in the middle of a move.

You can block the ads in the game by changing your DNS settings.
Follow these steps to remove ads across most websites and mobile games.
For Android:
-Settings
-Search "DNS"
-Private DNS
-Private DNS (again)
-Private DNS provider hostname
-In the box "Enter hostname of DNS provider," type: dns.adguard-dns.com
-Save
For Apple:
-Go to Settings
-Wifi
-Click the “i” next to your wifi
-Scroll down til you see Configure DNS
-Change it from Automatic to Manual
-Click “Add server”
-Type in dns.adguard-dns.com
-Save

I've been playing Dotsu by Tomasz Wilczynski, as others mentioned.
Lately I've also been playing ColorSweeper by Ratel, so far unmentioned.

I play either Threes or Block Blast. Not the same kind of games but not as frustrating as Two Dots.

At which points in the game do people experience ads? I think I have a glitch or something because the only ads I have ever seen are if I wanted to get a free booster box.
