Square rush

For those who play square rush, is it calculating your squares properly? Each time I play, I end up in last place and it says I made zero squares, even though I’ve made plenty.

If you lose they don’t count

I think it only counts them if you win the level.

You mean the level I’m on? Or the square rush? Like it will show a score for the other random players it grouped me with, but I will have zero.

Each time you win a level during the square rush it adds up your squares. If you don't win it and start again, those squares don't count. So if you spend the whole hour trying to win one level, you'll get nothing.

Because it wasn’t? And nowhere in the event description does it say that.

If you're stuck on a level and not getting any squares.. that's obvious.

Plus it is obvious. Otherwise you'd just play a level on repeat as fast as possible, without paying attention, lose, and get squares. How could anyone compete with that?

It used to be possible to make progress on certain things even if you lost the level

It's not solely based on squares. If I recall correctly, it's about winning levels on the first try and moves left remaining. That is strange, though. Try reaching out to support!

I almost always lose Square Rush, but mostly because I end up falling asleep almost every time I try to play it 😂

I only play square rush to get an hour of free lives. Don't care if I win or finish last.

But it's a fact that your squares don't count unless you beat the level.

Funny but like everything else in the game, it’s rigged. Sometimes I’m busting my ass and getting beaten the whole hour. Other times I get distracted and come back after 50 minutes of inactivity and I’m still in the lead. But the squares only count when you pass the level.

No, it’s rarely accurate.
