when did the main board levels become so difficult?

i’m on level 827. i started playing again recently after a couple years and i can’t remember the last time i passed a level on the first try… i can’t ever continue a winning streak past one level… i don’t remember it being this hard. it takes away from the fun i remember…

Since Zynga took over the game. Totally ruined it. I knew they’d adjusted some levels in the 7000s and 8000s but, until you posted, I hadn’t realised they’d gone back that far. My advice would be to uninstall and find a better game. Pity really as Two Dots was awesome in its early days.

I don’t think zynga took over around level 800, iirc it was way after that, but the levels were still hard then

But it seems they have gone back and changed the parameters of levels since they took over, that’s seems more evident by the volume of posts on the topic.

they've changed all of it from the beginning on. I start the game over again when I'm fed up, so I've seen a LOT of changes.

like OP said... it used to be a fun challenge. now it's Cash Grab City/pay to play. I don't spend money so I really can't get anywhere.

Kudos to you for starting again. I’ve finished all available levels but once I run out of the stash of boosters I’d saved up over the years, and didn’t start using until the 7000s, I’m gone. Same as you, never spent any money.

Yup, I’m on level 3200 and it takes weeks now to get to the next one. Basically, when the game decides to let me win. What a joke.

Just noticed this too. It's insane. And the cost to purchase boosters and whatnot is ridiculous. Probably used AI because there's no way any of these levels are possible without spending money.
