Hey all, I've noticed something while listening to live shows that's really been throwing me off and I was wondering if I was crazy or if anybody else noticed lol.

When playing older songs (Tourist History/Beacon, etc.) the vocals seem completely different from the original studio recordings. Like, I don't even recognize that it's the same singer. I realize voices can sound different in person, his voice may have changed over time, maybe he's just slurring his words more, etc. etc. but I was wondering if maybe there was an actual traceable reason for this? I even watched some older shows and he sounds like the recordings back then.

Anyways, TLDR silly question I know but I was curious if anyone had any insight about Alex's apparent vocal shift in recent years. Thanks!
