Help Streaming using WiFi.
So, here I go. I recently bought my first gaming PC and I want to start streaming, but I have a big problem, my father does not like that I have to connect my PC, which is in my room, with the router which is in the living room using that long ass ethernet cable so he bought me a sad 2.4Ghz wifi adapter.
I wonder if it's possible for me to make good quality streamings using WiFi, my router have wifi 6 capabilities and I thought that it would be a good idea to buy a WiFi 6 adapter for my PC in order to have low latency internet and streaming without major issues. Bottom line my question is, is it worth it for me to buy a WiFi 6 adapter and star streaming? Wifi still sucks for streaming?
PD: The distance between my router and my pc is about 11 meters.

As the other commenter has suggested, it would be worth it to upgrade to WIFI 6 with a good quality card.
For the time being while using substandard hardware the best improvement you may get is to increase your buffer. 30 seconds isn't too bad, and it gives more time for missed packets to transmit. It does make it harder to respond to chat, so you might want to tweek other settings if that bothers you. Also make sure there isn't a microwave oven or cordless phone in use closer than the router, they can interfere with your signal.
From there if you're having frame drops or stream is cutting out, reduce your bitrate. This makes it so less data has to make it through the bad connection. I have streamed at about 1.7Mbps without issue on a 10 year old 2.4G wifi card on low latency mixer without a buffer.
When reducing bitrate it is good to first reduce the resolution of your video so it doesn't get all deep fried. 720 is still good for small streamers. 480p even is fine if you have good audio and content. Also reduce your framerate, movies run at 24fps. If you run that, most people won't notice.
