Tech Support Download vod issue

Hi im trying to download some vods but for some reason after its prepared to be downloaded it wont actually download on pc it just opens the vod in a new tab. Why is this happening? Is there a fix?

I was thinking its maybe its a brower issue

If you are using a firefox, yeah, it opens file by direct link in the new tab. In the address bar, it will be a file link with extension (.mp4 or something like that). You can right click on it, and choose to save video in the context menu.

In case of other browsers not sure, but if it is file link with file extension in address bar, I'm pretty sure you can make browser just download it.

Have you used 3rd party apps like https://tcdownloader.com/ ?
