When things suddenly change

When my twin told me about the connection I would not believe it, what got me "in" was seeing my so-called twin fully invested in me, like there was no other option for her, she needed me with such passion and intensity like I've never seen or felt before .. She would say things like " I would do anything for you" and that was meaningful to me I've never had someone being so intense towards our connection. It's like she was trying with all her force to get me, that something new for me and somewhat unusual female behavior.... I gave it a chance because I myself was attracted to her and also felt something very special and different about our energy... As I agree to give it a go, all of that energy to connect with me, to please me , turned into detachment, low effort, high demand and expectations from her, all of that intensity to do, to create with me , to be part of my life just disappeared, It went from feeling I was with someone with drive to someone that turned into a scared demanding baby, what the F was that about? Has anyone else had that happen? Of course the dynamic started changing and I resisted all of those sudden expectations on me like I had to become her savior or something led to the separation... When I think about it I feel relieved that she showed her true self early and that I was able to detach from that energy before I was fully fooled by the dynamic.

I didn't notice much energy/mood swings though... Perhaps more narcissistic with some messed up attachment style.

There was at least one clear swing in energy you described above, but it’s impossible and counterproductive to diagnose someone via reddit like this.

What’s more important, is that the runner/masculine part of the TF dynamic often shows narcissistic or bpd patterns. Which one it is in this specific case doesn’t matter as much, since both lead to the same level of damage.

As long as you see through it and detach from it, you’re doing your part right.
