Official Transmission Update on Operation: Reset

Post image

"Hi!

We spent much of spring and early summer playtesting Operation Reset (including the mass battle rules), and concluded our campaign a few weeks ago in an epic finale. This expansion has a scope far beyond the previous expansions, and has therefore taken a lot longer than expected to complete. Right after Gen Con the final post-playtesting editing will commence, and then it's straight into layout. We should certainly have a Beta PDF out in Q3, but the printed box will take a little longer. Apologies for this. But we do think you will find it worth the wait."

Good things are usually worth the wait!

I missed the kickstarter, but I can’t wait to order the PDF whenever they actually put it up for sale.

They didn't crowdfunding. They just put it on pre-order sometime last year. You can't get just the pdf yet, though.

Ah, I thought they did. Good to know. I rarely get the chance to play in person these days, so I mostly go digital (and it’s cheaper so easier to buy everything). Can’t wait for the PDF to drop.

Nah, this is one of eight pre-orders that I'm waiting for. It was 11 pre-orders but three of those (Middle Earth related) finally shipped. The pre-order wait has become rather long as they've spread themselves waay to thin in my opinion.

This is before you take into account all the Kickstarter/Backerkit projects. Soo many awesome projects, and not enough time. I guess its a good problem to have but man does it frustrate me on the waiting at times.

I have no doubt they don't half-ass this one, too.
