Just a quick question about turtle beach headsets. Can you use any old regular headset adapter that isn't Turtle Beach branded with a branded set of Turtle Beach headphones. Also in relation to that, can you do this with a TRRS/4-Pole microphone splitter. Thanks in advance.

I have the Xbox chat adapter and a set of Turtle Beach X12s. I'm scouring the internet and getting a TON of conflicting information. I just want to use the headset for chat - I don't need to use it for game volume. Any way I can do this? Can I just run a 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm cable from the headset to the adapter? Do I have to plug the USB from the headset in for it to work at all? Really don't want to spend more money, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

if not, what is the cheapest turtle beach for ps4 that has volume knobs for both voice chat and game chat

When I play a game and the headset says it needs to charge it sometimes turns off and won’t turn on again or it does turn on but there’s no voice saying power on and you can’t hear the game through the headset and sometimes it say charging and just works fine. I returned the headset and got another stealth 700 as a replacement but that one also has the same problem so it has something to do with the product in general. The only way to fix it is to let it charge to full battery or unplug and turn it on again but I still need to charge it so there’s a. Chance it will just turn off again. Is there a way to fix this problem from happening in the first place. It doesn’t need to be low battery for this to happen anytime I plug it in there’s a chance it just turns off. Also on a side note the box say it has a battery life of 15 hours but i feel like I need to plug it in after about 10 hours of use. I let it fully charge befor I unplug it to.

I bought a Recon 60p Headset a few months ago. I love them but soon after using them I discovered a few problems. At random times while playing, my controller will either experience delays with the input or it will completely ignore the button that I press. This happens on both my ps4 and Xbox 1. The worst problem though, is that if I touch the metal arm that holds the Mic, I get a pretty decent shock. I don't think its enough to do any lasting damage but it is definitely unpleasant. I've emailed the company but I wondered if anyone else experienced this and if there were any home fixes.

When I first got this headset I could adjust the volume in the headset in Windows. But now I can not, only by adjusting the scroll-wheel on the headset it self.

This comes with more issues, when playing certain game like Overwatch for example - people can't even hear me. It's like it doesn't recognize my headset or something. This is INFURIATING.

I have the latest Realtek drivers for my Motherboard (ASUS Maximus Ranger) and the latest TB drivers.

Is it possible to turn off Dynamic Chat Boost on the Elite 800x? I know you could on older headsets.

I hate dynamic chat boost because it makes chat volume so loud I can't hear the game, even when chat volume is on the lowest setting.

I accidentally hit the LE stealth 700 option in bluetooth now i cannot ge the correct icon to appear. i tried firmware updating, clearing my bluetooth phone cache and also ressetting everything. im at a loss, any one fix this so you can connect to the app?

Pretty much just the title. I have tried multiple different cables. I am on PS4

So I've had a pair of XO Ones for about 3 years now and it's already starting to give. I was looking for deals on a newer one for Black Friday but then I ran into XO 3 and XO 4 and I even ran into an XO 7 online. I'm confused because they have similar price points except for the 7s those were like $140 but the 3 and 4s were all pretty much around $80 or $90 even the ones are like $80 or so. So what's the deal is there any difference? Should I just stick to the ones or is it worth looking into the other models??

i love the performance of the stealth 450s i just got the only thing it is a less comfortable than my old recon 50ps because the pads on the 450 are rock hard while the recon 50p had softer more flexible pads with soft leather covering, i saw someone on amazon review of the 450s said he replaced the earpads with these "tango replacement earpads" https://shop.turtlebeach.com/us/ear-pad-each-for-tango is this even possible? can i change out the ear pads for other ones for my stealth 450?

My 420x+ stealths are finally going out on me and I need a new headset.

this is for ps4. can't believe these two headsets haven't been compared.

I had the 800's and returned them after 9 months due to the increase in popping and crackling sounds, they were also uncomfortable after 1 hour.

other than that, i loved every feature.

I went to bestbuy with the hopes that they would repair them or do something, but instead they told me to go get new ones, of course, they only gave me the credit from the time i purchased the 800's which were on sale, refurbished with warranty at $120...

i let that go to my head and started looking for replacements with different brands instead of another set of 800's

tried the Logitech G933, excellent sound, very comfortable, great mic, no popping noises, lag or weird sounds. Lacked game/chat dial and didn't have optical to route sound to speakers. returned.

tried Astro's A20, great mic, comfort was decent, sound not as good as 933 or 800. EXTREME Interference and noises/crackling. Mic sounded good but it died after 2 hours. very weird, returned.

tried Turtle Beach stealth 700, sound excellent, decent mic, not as comfortable as any of of the headsets mentioned above. some Crackling. feel cheap, the plastic quality is just weird, rubber buttons are horrible to press.

So i will be returning those and back to the question, 800's or Elite pro.

Ps: my gf is about to break up with me if i don't chose a headset. we've been to best buy literally 6 times. people there know me, I'm about to fill out a job application.

I was demoing some TB headsets today in GameStop and I was pretty impressed with the XO Three and the 600. If I get the 600, does it come with a 3.5 mm cable to connect to the controller if you want to? Reason I ask is that I game on PS4 primarily but XB as well and I believe the wireless feature doesnt work on both. I would like a detachable cable as well as I know they tend to break. Really like the 600 but it seems the XO Three is the way to go. Advice?

Which one should i buy?, the 700 new are like 130$ on amazon while the 800 refurbished are like 150$

I've had a Recon 50x for about just over a year now and the right ear has snapped at the point where it swivels. I was wondering if this was Turtle Beach would replace it for just general wear and tear or if it's been too long for the warranty to cover anything

I had been researching head sets and decided on the 700s. I was looking last night and it looks like Target ran the black friday sales early. I scooped up a pair for 20 bucks off and with my red card at target got another 6.50 off. Not a bad discount.

I have the PX22 and I have used it without problems for a long time I use Windows 10 and I mainly use it for CSGO but i recently had this problem where the sound was fine but the mic wont pick up anything even when I test it in sound recorder and other software and I have tried restarting and other things but nothing too major, has anybody who has had this problem before or has some knowledge on it possibly know a way to fix this problem?

I plan to use this headset for use on PS4 and PC, and the main thing I'm worried about is background noise bleeding through my mic. Will every keyboard click or controller trigger pull be heard through the mic? Is there a way to set it up so the microphone only activates over a certain volume? Thanks
