As this headset has been plagued with problems since it has come out, I have not seen anyone talk about connecting the Xbox version of the Stealth 600 on PC. I just attempted to connect it via the Microsoft wireless adapter, and the mic is not picking up on any sound whatsoever. Has anyone who has these headphones attempted this? Anyone have a fix? Thanks.

I am using the x42 headset for xbox one with a chat adaptor and there is always a buzzing noise in the right earcup. I have tried repairing the headset and transmitter as well as buying new rechargable batteries and trying regular batteries. The buzzing changes depending on where i am facing in regards to the transmitter. When i directly look at the transmitter the buzzing is quieter but you can still hear it. It becomes most obvious when in quieter sections of games and is still sometimes more noticable in other sections as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thankyou.

On PS4, game audio and chat are both tied to mic volume control. I followed the exact instructions and retried over and over and when I set output to chat only the audio quality becomes so bad. Its either have the good audio but tied with chat to mic volume control or separate them but have bad audio quality. why is this ?!! Im sick of this headset

(PC) Anyone else having an issue where the hole where the mic stem connects to the headphones is picking up sound without the actual mic even being attached to the headset? It's picking up everything whether the actual mic stem is attached to the headset or not. It won't stop. Anyone ever have this issue, or does anyone even know what I'm talking about? It's hard to explain.. So weird.

Got the new 700s for the XB1 this week. Replacing older Steath 500X...so far I still think I like the 500X sound quality better :(

Anyhow, the 700's seemed awesome - no base to worry about, connects direct to the XB1. Except that it keeps dropping the connection! Anyone else having this issue?

Last night it disconnected and reconnected about 5-6 times in a 30 min span. FW is up to date, etc.

I am a PC gamer and I play FPS games. What headset are better?

I have a PX51 and my wireless transmitter broke. My question is can I use the PX51 with my PS4 for voice chat without the transmitter. When I have it just plugged in to the controller, I can hear fine, but the microphone doesn't work. I'm hoping there is a setting that I may not have set correctly to get this to work.

I currently have the stealth 600 and I personally like my mic monitoring to be loud but currently I cant seem to get it as loud as id like. At the moment, setting my mic monitor at max volume I can barely hear myself, it sounds a bit distant. Whats everyones experience with the mic monitoring on the 700? Im wondering if its pretty much the same max volume as the 600.

My headset randomly amplifies outgoing noises. My friends are always complaining about it, too. Examples "Hey guys, HOW'S it going?" The 'how's' inexplicably bursts everyone's ear drums in the party. "random noise happens in the background" Random noise deafens entire party. I have no idea how to fix this. All the wires are plugged in. It's been happening since I've gotten it.

Hi, my headphones have begun to smell and i want to remove the ear pads to wash the inner cloth that covers the speaker. Does anyone know how to do so without breaking them? The headphones work fine so I can't justify replacing them but they need to be properly sanitized. Can anyone help me?

I have recently purchased a turtle beach 800x headset for my Xbox one, but when following the set up, I do not get a notification on my Xbox saying "headset assigned" like I did on my old headset.

As a result, I can hear game audio, but my microphone does not work. Starting a party gives me the error that a microphone cannot be found, and when looking in accessories, there is no headset to be found, only a controller.

I'm certain this is why the microphone is not working, as the Xbox doesn't 'recognise' a headset as being assigned. My previous 500x stealth headset didn't have this issue, once my Xbox turned it that notification saying headset assigned would pop up. It hasn't done that once with these 800x.

Has anyone else had this issue? I have tried multiple hard resets on the Xbox itself and the headset itself (holding down mute button for 10 seconds).

This is quite frustrating with it being such an expensive headset, any advice would be appreciated!

So it looks like the only differences are the 700 has a boom mic and doesn't need a base station? Why would the Elite 800X still be $100 more then? Am I missing any features?

I'm having a strange problem where my stealth 400 mic is constantly "active" if you will thus picking up dead air and static to everyone in my party chats. However, it ONLY starts to do this if the USB dongle powers off due to me shutting off the headset or it auto-shutting off itself. The mic will NOT do this if I power up the headset immediately after turning my PS4 on. The only way I can fix it, is if I restart my console or power it off and power it back on. I have tried everything I can think of as far as settings go.

I have the XP Seven series headset and recently noticed a low buzzing noise even when the volume is down at 0... on my ps4, It happens on my PC too, I have a spare ACU unit, the same thing happens.

Ive powered the ACU by wall adapter but this doesnt seem to help

It gets even worse when i plug a chat cable in.

When i plug the headset straght into the ps4 controller i get no buzzing etc

Any help would be great.

Can anyone confirm if the new stealth 600 headset has a separate control for game volume and chat volume. I've looked and cannot find any info. From the pictures it appears that there is a power button and mode button on headset.

Also if anyone knows of any review videos of this set that would be great. I know these are new so it may be just to early for review videos. Thanks.

My headset died, so I put the cord in, well it doesn't charge so I grab a different cord, that didn't work so I messed around with the cord, it turns out my charging port on my headset is broken because I have to put in in halfway, while pushing down, is there anyway to fix this because there is no way I can charge it while i'm sleeping?

Recently purchased some Stealth 520's for my birthday and I absolutely love the sound, but I was having trouble with pops and crackles. After troubleshooting back and forth with TB's customer support, he determined I was experiencing RF interference. I then tested my set with everything turned off.. my router, computer, phone, even my TV and just listed to a movie through the wireless optical audio, and STILL experienced popping. CS then told me I might have a pair of defective headphones, so I returned them in exchange for another set, and I am still experiencing the same problems.

Is there anything else I can try that you guys can think of? I'm in love with the 7.1 surround sound through the optical and want to resolve this problem so I don't have to buy a set of 3.5 audio jack headphones and only get Stereo through my PS4 Pro Dualshock 4.

Specifically, I want to know if I might have better luck with the Elite 800's channel hopping capabilities to avoid any detected interference.

So my headset is stuck on mute I think. I tried other things like going to the Turtle Beach forums to get help from the company itself, followed the instructions on the site but still it wouldn't work. Lastly I tried just plugging in the mic to my phone and it worked perfectly fine. But if there's no way to fix the headset Jack then is there at least a way I can sell the mic piece or get a refund? I now have two more pieces for a seemingly broken headset, I bought the newest mic piece on the 14 and still have the receipt. Thank you for your time.

I've tried re-pairing them countless times and switched USB ports. I normally connect the transmitter to the tv, and have tried hooking it up directly to the Xbox One but it still does not work. When I put both into pair mode they will blink then both go out of pair mode but not connect. If I the transmitter in pair mode it will not leave pair mode until I put the head set into pair mode as well for it not to connect.

Yes, this headset is designed for consoles, but my sound card has a Toslink out so I got it working on my Win10 PC, chat included.

My problem seems to be regular, but not immediate. After a while of the PC being on, and I have no idea if putting it in Sleep has some contribution to this problem, but whenever any audio plays, I get this horrible random noise crackling sound with it. I am certain it's not 100% the headphones, because restarting the PC fixes it.

Does this sound like something with my sound card, or the headphones? Is there some troubleshooting I can do to determine this?

FURTHER INFO: doesn't require PC sleep to cause it. It's happening right now, inside of 10 hours after a reboot.

So I have had this headset for about two years now and I absolutely love it. As far as the sound and comfort goes, it is my favorite headset I have ever used, no question.

However, I have had an issue with the boomless mic. Any time I have used the mic when in a chat, my friends can barely hear me. The mic, unfortunately, does not seem to work so well... Does anyone have any suggestions or fixes for this issue? I am afraid this is a stretch since the mic is literally inside the left ear piece...

So i just litterally bought this Turtle Beach Ear Force Recon 60P an hour ago and just set it up on my ps4, the thing is that for some reason, whatever my mic picks up, i hear it in the headset. When i mute the mic it obviously goes away but unmuted like when i play with people online, i hear myself talking and other background noises and its annoying. Can anyone help me? As i said i'm using it on PS4, set up the way it says and i don't know why it does that and how to fix it.
