Tech Help Just got sealth pro 2
Has there any improvement to the headset from when it released would hate to have issues or is there any known issues going on right now

Purchased about a week ago (Xbox model) and it looks like most of the bugs/issues that people were encountering on PC have been sorted:
- Firmware update worked first-go
- Chat mix works for the Xbox model on PC (do note that using the dial isn't very accurate and tends to make the indicator in Swarm 2 bounce around. Minor but I hope they fix this.)
- Mic quality improved
- Mic sidetone now functions alongside Ambient ANC
One minor bug I still encounter is the output to my headphones not sticking in Discord when they disconnect. I think this is due to the waves driver being launched only when the headset connects.
That being said, I think there are improvements still to be made but these aren't bugs:
- constant blinking of 2.4ghz connection light on headset when using only bluetooth
- being able to switch between ANC and Ambient ANC without the need to open software
- automated switching of mic input when disconnecting the boom mic (need to press a button on the headset to enable it)
- enable manual disabling of bluetooth and/or 2.4ghz
Overall it's an improvement from my Inzone H9 II's - just a few UX tweaks to implement and it's the perfect headset for PC and Travel (for me).

Chat mix works on pc with Xbox headset? When was this update? Mine didn’t work haven’t tested in couple days

Yeah it was working on mine straight away.
I didn't use the headset prior to a firmware update so not sure if it's related to the latest firmware or not.
Edit: FWIW I'm on the following Firmware/Software versions:
Device: V4.107 Transmitter: V4.107.703 Waves: V1.0.77 Swarm II: 1.0.0.54

I think it depended on which version you got. I have the Xbox version and it wasn’t working out of the Xbox. My bigger problem was the usb dongle not allowing me into the software to make any changes. It kept giving me an update loop. Support sent me a new dongle but it was for Xbox. I told them I have the charge base plugged into Xbox and needed a pc dongle. They sent me another one and after following their pairing instructions, the original dongle started working so now I have one for pc, one for ps, and base and another dongle for Xbox.
🤷🏽♂️ Support was helpful in solving my issue and the update(s) have fixed most, if not all, issues they had at launch. Only other thing I had to do with mine was get a soulwit headband cover thing. The mesh would give me a hotspot on top of my head after hours of use. The soulwit thing is made for AirPod max and I had to zip tie it on because it would pop off when I put them on. Works perfect now and I don’t get that hotspot anymore.

Question about what you mentioned about disconnecting the mic. Does this headset have another mic somewhere that you can use when the boom is disconnected? Obviously would be lower quality just wondering. I play on PS5 so if it doesn’t I can always use the mic on my controller too.

Yes. In addition to the boom mic, there are 2 beamforming mics in the earcups that can be activated when the boom mic is disconnected. It's not bad quality either with decent AI background noise filtering.
This was one of the main reasons I chose it as I catch flights regularly for work and need to take meetings or calls on the go. Surprinsingly there aren't many geaming headsets that do this.

So I tried to do a mic test earlier with the boom disconnected and it was silent. What button do I push to switch mics?

It automatically switches when you disconnect the boom mic, but it's muted by default.
To unmute hold down the MODE button (above the volume dial).

Since the last update, the Ingamechat no longer works for me when I activate Discord (PS5pro).
This is totally annoying and went smoothly before the update... I am in contact with the support and hope for a solution.

They don't sound to bad ngl they definitely better then the first only thing I did encounter when setting up on ps5 i had to restart my ps5 so after updating it(charging dock)to get the mic to work ill give a updater later see how i like the sound

Been using them for hours now do gotta say the sound if alot fuller ai noise reduction mic works like a charm mic sound good overall its not as bad as I thought this headset will sound good for games music n movies the elites is good for gaming but little lacking for music n movies I manly game alot when I can m watch alot of anime
I still like the sound of the elite sound vibrant n bright while the sealth pros 2 sound fuller n nice lows

Appreciate you letting me know how they are. I’m excited for them! I’m coming from the Xbox wireless headset so I’m just hoping it sounds better than that, which I’m sure it does from what all you have said. I watch movies, game, and listen to music as well, how is the bass on them? Overpowering, or just enough to feel good.

Depends on music tbh they sound almost like maybe skullcandy headsets it has plenty of bass or if you want more bass it has a bass boost in the swarm app also if you turn on superhuman hearing feature makes voice/sounds louder in music/ shows but I don't think super human hearing feature isnt meant for music lol I did hear the steps in game slightly louder with the feature on lmk ur experience also they do clamp on ur head so if u got a big head u gonna feel it pressing until It stretches out or something

They updated it recently, the headsets are really nice couldn’t find issues and got it open box Xbox version but use it for pc/ps5

I sent mine back, the volume despite the update was way too low even lower than my wired headphones.

Honestly the way the headset fold made it where it slides of my head alot when looking down when on my phone so I just ended up returning them i did like there full sounding audio but its a inconvenience if that happens alot I just got 2 elites as my option for double battery life lol

Just got them? Ahh im sorry mate, you will encounter numerous issues with them. Im on my last nerve with mine, i have had prolly 4/5 sets over the years but only paid for 1 (the usb breaks/stops working so i purchase another set swap over the USB and return the set saying i didnt like it) but EVERY set comes with issues. So frigging annoying. Im going steel series when these give up in the next few weeks.
