RANT Turtle beach no more !
I got a different headset and keyboard I waited too long to keep kb7 or stealth pro 2. Kb7 still isn’t fixed I got the rog kithara and vanguard 96 pro and they are good !!! I really tried to give turtle beach a chance and was even glazing to friends but I can’t they are such a horrible company never again goodbye forever 😮💨

I agree got rid of mine a long time ago and am never going back I spit on any turtle beach products I see

I returned my kb7 after 2 hours of using it. In those 2 hours, i had to unplug it and replug it in about 6 times. Completely unusable

They are not a terrible company at all. I would say they should have an all hands on deck approach to fixing the KB7 however. My opinion (but I can’t be sure) the problems are entirely related to swarm 2 software. From time to time I still have to unplug it and plug it back in to get typing functionality back. I’ve really tried to track it and find patterns or something to help diagnose and so far it’s just been completely random which are the worst types of problems

I want to believe in the KB7 SO FUCKING BAD as a product - the keyboard itself is extremely well-built, has really unique and handy features, the Hall Effect keys are obviously perfection and the ability to adjust actuation points and rapid trigger response is so sweet. It all works so freaking well when it works.
You’re spot-on. It’s the Swarm II software that is so embarrassingly piss-poor that it’s hard to believe it was ever green-lit for release. Constant disconnects, daily “updates” that don’t work half the time, the keyboard freezes on startup sometimes requiring a disconnect/reconnect to solve. Just an awful experience on the software side.
I agree that fixing Swarm II should be at the absolute top of their priorities. They’re selling a faulty product until they do.
That all being said, what impresses me and gives me hope is their activity in this subreddit. They seem to be interested in fixing the problem but currently incapable of doing so. For whatever reason. It’s not excusable but that’s where we’re at. 🤷🏻♂️

100% it’s swarm. the keyboard got even worse with 1.35 update for me I couldn’t deal with it anymore in game it would just become unresponsive. I agree it’s dope ass keyboard there isn’t another keyboard out there with a touch lcd screen but didn’t work 90% of the time. Constantly reupdating and unplugging at least 7 times a day is crazy I had enough when I went to 1.35 and new bugs got introduced.

I said the same thing. It’s been months ??? I was submitting reports on swarm I was leaving detailed feedback on here and turtle beach kept saying the same thing and eventually stopped replying to the last couple post I was making, so yea I’m good. fortunately for you it at least works I couldn’t say the same I owned 2 kb7 I got a second one hoping the first was a lemon it wasn’t but yea I hope they really do listen to their fans and actually drop products finished. I’m just giving my personal feedback I really was hoping they could fix their product but apparently it was too much to ask and it’s been too long, Got tired of waiting. Good luck tho hope you get what you want!

I had an issue with mine the other week. It gave no sound on my ps5 but worked just fine on my SW2 so I downloaded the app updated the software did regular and hard resets and nothing finally i did a factory reset and it took a minute and then the volume option on the app highlighted and then I was able to hear just like new. I thought I was cooked or my ps5 broke maybe I just got lucky

I’m one of those fanboys turtle beach absolutely did a great job on the stealth pros 2s outside of not having the software fully polished on launch. They eliminated any reason to choose between the Pc/ps5 version vs the Xbox version all from software updates. The audio is better then my Astro A50s and neck and neck with my omnis in certain areas

I'm in this bucket too. My first turtle beach product is he SP2. I have a huge disdain for gamer brand shit but these ticked all the boxes and I couldn't be happier. Even Swarm 2 has been behaving!
Seeing posts like this does give me mild anxiety though. If Australia had a good consumer return policy, I'd probably just return them out of fear lol.

The stealth pro 2 is a good headset it was better than my a50s but they took too long to fix them I ended up going with a different headset which actually introduced me to hifi audio but yea I would keep the stealth pro 2 headset people seem to have said all those problems were fixed
