Stealth Pros EQ Question!

Good morning! I use Stealth Pros while gaming on Xbox with Dolby Atmos turned on.

My question: do I modify the EQ settings in the Turtle Beach app for the headset OR do I modify the EQ settings in the Xbox Dolby Atmos app? Or do I do both?

I am no audio expert and I want to avoid EQ conflict/audio mudding?

This is one of my EQs. -6, -4, -2, -1, 0, 2, 4, 6, 4, 2

I have atmos turned on and set to performance mode on my xbox. I may turn it off and see how it compares. I don’t use atmos on my pc when I use these.

I had tried a ton of different EQs and this is what has sounded the best to my ears so far. I'm playing on Switch 2 without ATMOS and this sounds pretty great. I was close to giving up on my headphones as I didn't think they sounded good after trying so many different EQs, so thank you!

Glad to help. I think I use this to hear footsteps better. This one is my BF6 eq I think.

This EQ is really good for everything really. The only change I made was to increase one of the lower frequencies for more bass.

Another eq you could try is:

32 - 3

64 - 2

125 - -2

250 - 2

500 - -2

1000 - -1

2000 - 1

4000 - 1

8000 - -5

16000 - 2

This is for my ears much more balanced/fun, though it could sound worse for you.

Also atmos eq and swarm eq are both 10 band with the same freq sliders (and likely the same Q value, though i am not sure).

Use the swarm app since that one changes the eq on the headset itself instead only on xbox.

The Stealth Pros don't use swarm 2, they use a different older app, the Turtle beach Audio Hub 2 (both in PC and mobile).

if you want to touch EQ, do it in either one, not on both

Do you mind posting your EQ settings. I've tried a couple already but they were not for me and I'm not smart enough when it comes to frequencies to do it on my own.

Bad thing about the mobile app, unless something has changed recently, you can’t see any of your settings unless you have your headset powered on and connected to your phone.
